Good Space

Susan is wonderful to work with. Not only did she transform my home into a comfortable place for my family she was also very concerned about my thoughts as well as my budget. I highly recommend hiring her!!

Very professional, responsive to my needs. They spent time getting to know me and my needs before providing design suggestions. I felt the design was tailored for me! Willing to work within my budget. Honest feedback about challenges to unusually shaped room, but not discouraging! Would absolutely hire again for another project!

Susan simply transformed our home into a space thatâ s a joy to live, work and play in. Our condo had a great layout, but we knew we werenâ t using it well. Our two office spaces were dark and cramped, our living room dining room and kitchen were just meh, and our kids ended up taking over our living room with toys and Pokémon cards because they didnâ t really have another space that worked for them. Susan totally reconfigured both of our offices- which has transformed WFH into a joy- and turned two embarrassing zoom backgrounds into â wowâ inspiring backgrounds. With just a coat of paint, a couple of inexpensive furniture purchases, and a really reasonable rug, our Living room, Dining room and Kitchen just â popâ . Walking into the front door and seeing the new layout continues to bring a smile every time. It also helps that Susan enabled us to rearrange the kids space, and she unlocked a ton of valuable play space by helping us to add massive storage to our finished basement area. And all of this work was done within a very modest budget, with Susan helping us to identify cost effective ways to get all of this done. We could not be happier with the work Susan did, and we cannot recommend her highly enough.

Work: Rethink of kitchen and pantry storage and refresh dining room function/ paint color and added storage to bathroom I think Susan did the impossible. She found a cost effective solution for our moderately sized condo kitchen/pantry which increased the work surface as well as visible shelve and draw storage for my husband by 4 fold - all while maintaining my need for order and simplicity and reduced clutter. In addition she found a storage piece, second hand, which is beautiful, functional and extremely well priced. She listened carefully to what we each needed individually and came up with solutions that I would never have been able to do on my own. I look forward to teaming up with her for future projects.

Susan is wonderful. She is organized, thoughtful and gets things done so quickly. Our condo was disjointed and frankly ugly and uncomfortable when we hired Susan. Within weeks we had rearranged existing furniture, bought a new living room rug, ordered window treatments, designed benches and storage cabinets and were given many new furniture ideas. She works on our timeline, never pressuring us to buy anything and always gives us many options are various price points. She's a gem!

Susan has helped us with two homes. She is exceptional about listening to clients and hearing what is important to us and translating that into a beautiful home. She is careful with budget and has many solutions that are reasonably priced. We are so very pleased with the work she has done for us.

We recently bought a townhome in Newton and hired Susan to help us create a family home that would be comfortable for my husband and I and inviting to our nearby children and grandchildren. Susan is a talented interior designer who listens carefully to her clients, offers choices and tactfully guides her clients toward an aesthetic that both appeals to her client and works aesthetically. She is diligent, often thinks out of the box and is fun to work with. Her help has bern invaluable to us and we highly recommend her as a sensitive talented fun designer.

I feel so lucky to have found Susan! My 120 year old house was in need of interior decorating - paint, furniture, lighting, rugs, window treatments. Quite an overwhelming task. Susan worked with me to identify the style, look, colors I wanted and is taking me through all the steps in the process. She is not a â cookie cutterâ decorator and really wants to personalize the decisions for me. My project is still under way but I'm confident that I will have a beautiful home when it's done. Susan has a great eye for decorating, saves money where she can and has a sense of humor! I recommend her highly.
