Prompt and they do very good work.

For over $7500 worth of work, I'd honestly expect a lot more professional courtesy and timeliness than what we got with Gary. We hired him to tear down and replace our front porch, install an egress window and sand and stain the stairs inside our house. Only to a point will I give Gary credit that the tenants we have made it difficult for him to do every project that he was hired for; but he that only goes so far. Gary gave us dates and times that he would be at the house to do work and then he would either show up late or not at all. Given we had to notify our property manager, to give our tenants 24 hours notice and their obstruction, this made completing every project impossible from his original timeline. The porch was probably the project with the least amount of drama surrounding the project. Even that was started late, not completed when he said it'd be and then he only put one side rail on for some reason. When he went to install the window, the tenants intentionally took off claiming they weren't notified he was coming. He was late from even the time he'd given us and we told our property manager. Instead of calling either of us or the property manager, Gary instead decided to try and install an almost $1000 window from the outside with no access inside. The window broke on one side, causing it to have to be replaced and another delay. Due to his overall attitude and our anger with our tenants, we opted to not have him complete the stairs. Even though one of us was there helping him with much of what he started he still charged us for work he didn't actually do. The overall quality of the stairs and window is good. Our tenants did make having access to do the work difficult, but if we were in the home I probably would've fired Gary after his delays with the porch. Quality finished product counts for a lot, but treating a decent sized contract this unprofessionally was absolutely uncalled for.

Response from Company:

I will not argue the fact that your tenants made this difficult. When we met in the beginning for the quote the tenant seemed to have no problems with the work being done. It wasn't until after the original start date was set that there was a problem. Don't be fooled by your own ignorance as you know as well as I do you yourself kept texting me telling me they were giving a fuss about it and the time or date had to be changed. This time of year is very busy for the company and I still managed to move things around to satisfy your tenants schedule. 3 times to be exact. As far as the railing on the deck CODE only requires one look it up yourself before you go trying to make me look bad for that. The window being broke . Well you do know the story behind that as well that happen because your tenants were told by you and your property manager what day and time I would be there and they weren't there and that was one of the days that had already been rescheduled by you because your manager want to give them 24 hr notice which I had no problem with. Bottom line is I have a schedule to keep and I had you on a scheduled week that you changed because of your tenants. Hope all is well and have a great day!

In an area with limited services I was pleased that GS could fit me into their busy summer schedule. They were helpful, cooperative, and willing to listen to my own ideas. They also did some trim work and took out a corner bathtub, all to my satisfaction. Our payment schedule was mutually agreed upon, and not all up front. Again, this is a busy company and we were patient within their schedule. With some add ons to the original job, they even worked on a Saturday. Gary is a trustworthy and honest businessman.

Required cash paid in full upfront and left before job was completed. Was to hang/finish drywall and have it ready for me to paint. In fact Gary offered to paint it, I declined. I told him I wanted it ready so I could paint it. The crew left when the second coat of mud was still damp and handed me sandpaper to finish the job. Not what I paid for. Gary came back later that evening to finish the corners after I called him. When he was done he suggested I use flat paint to hide imperfections. I now have 2 coats of flat paint on the walls and I'm not happy with the results.

Gary was amazing. He was very professional and personable. He painted my cottage in Alexandria Bay and did AMAZING job. He also put in a new kitchen floor which turned better than I could have ever imagined. He already has a couple more jobs in the park. He is very Meticulous with his work. I loved his worked so much that I gave his card to the owner of MeadowLane Park. Thank you Gary for everything.

The folks at GS construction were fast courteous knowledgeable and very professional. Gary came out and and gave us a estimate for our roof to be redone this was a very fare competitive price. He explained in detail what needed to be done taking the time to ensure that my wife and I understood how and what the process entailed, Gary and his workers showed up when they were expected to start the job and got right to work on our project. they went above and beyond to complete our roof even replacing some rotted out wood on our roof at no extra charge. They completed our roof a day ahead of schedule doing a beautiful job and left our property as clean as it was before they started. extremely happy with price service and value we received.
