Cons: Sloppy work, spotty communication, did not try to fix his mistakes. Pro: Derick was friendly and kind, good communication at first, worked with me to create the landscape I wanted (choosing plants). I am not happy at all with G and Gs work. I wish I could attach pictures to show what my landscape looks like now, only a couple of months after they left. I hired Derick to remove weeds, plants, and other debris from my front yard. After he left, I noticed the edges on the newly made beds were a little sloppy. Still, overall I was happy and planned installations with him the following month. Fast forward 2 weeks, plants were regrowing in the beds, everywhere. At this point, he had not been a great communicator, and his work was not impressive. I reached out to him about it, concerned about what we should do - silence. I reached out a week later to kindly discontinue our services with him due to our growing skepticism that he would not do a good job in the future (never heard back). Fast forward to a couple of months later, I now have a bed with old scattered plants up to my waist that looks like a MESS, blotchy grass (he put down seed), and poorly dug bed edges. Our other beds do not look fresh or well-carved and the central bed looks worse than before. Also, since we canceled our install with them, it is now too late in the season to find someone, so we have to wait until next year. I am very upset I have to write all this. Derick was incredibly friendly, and I wanted to give his business a chance. I wish he had corrected his mistakes, but unfortunately, I heard nothing back and now have to pay someone else to repair what he did.
