I had a great experience with Fuery Development Group. Highly recommended. They were responsive to my request for a quote. The quote was almost half of the other two estimates. Work was scheduled and performed within a week of accepting the estimate and the workers arrived and completed the work ahead of schedule. Additionally, once on the job site I asked them to do a small, but additional, task and they were able to get that done as well and for a reasonable charge. A few days after the work was done I determined I needed certification that the work was done. They happily provided it within the next 48 hours. I am very pleased with their work and would hire them again.

OVERALL REVIEW: 3/5 Stars for Work, 1/5 Stars for Professionalism In an effort to make this the most honest review possible, I’ll cover the good and the bad in sequential order. Don’t stop once you read something positive – I would not contract with this developer again. We have phone call records and email correspondence to back all of this up. Poor Professionalism, Average Workmanship The job: Remodeled two bathrooms, added a standing shower in one and tiled the other. Pros: -Initially, we were impressed with Jim’s (Jim Fuery, the owner) friendliness and professionalism. When he visited our home in early May of 2018, he took some measurements and was very knowledgeable about the process. -Joe from the Floor Covering Shop in Norwich was excellent. 5/5 stars. Cons: -My wife noted the shower plumbing would be too short for a rain showerhead. Jim did not answer our calls, but the plumber did show up. He was rude and agitated. We saved them a lot of rework. -Throughout the job, the workers left our garage an absolute mess, despite our efforts to leave them a workspace (wife parking her car outside, leaving it open, etc.). They went far enough through our property to dump drywall waste in the woods behind the house, apparently assuming I either wouldn’t walk my entire property or wouldn’t care. -Workers were inefficient, sometimes rude, never showed up on time. -Worker shook my hand and told me the work was complete – upon inspection the tub spout was barely attached, showerhead leaky, leakage through the floor into our basement. Took weeks to install the shower arm in our first bathroom. Door in our first bathroom still does not operate properly, even after I helped him install it the first time. It took him about a week to install the “missing piece” even though my wife asked every day that they take care of it. -They chipped our $300 vanity, managed to get paint on our vanity in the other bathroom. Paint job was sub-par, had to be redone by myself on a weekend. -Work took 4 months – 2.5 months longer than we expected, mostly due to workers not showing up to work. -Fuery Development Group had to be contacted to drive ANYTHING, including workers arriving to do work. Individual workers did not contact us and did not have cell phones for the majority of the job. That is, until it came time to get them the final paycheck. They were all over that. BLUF: If you’re looking for a mediocre experience, go elsewhere. This process was stressful and frustrating at almost every step.

They replaced my old wooden deck with Trex. The work was done on schedule and it is beautiful. The team worked well together and customer service was great. I am impressed with the whole process!!! I will use them again on future projects!!!

Very nice people to work with. Trustworthy and dependable. Assisted me with additional things I could not do myself that they did not have to do. One young man even helped me with my groceries!

I was extremely pleased with the work of Fuery Development Group on my master bathroom remodel. The pricing was competitve, and the quality of work was excellent. Beau Lucas was my primary contact, and he was a true professional. The crew arrived promptly each day, and they kept me informed every step of the way with the progress of the work. The finished product was beautiful, and I truly enjoy using my new master bath everyday!!!

I am beyond happy with Fuery Development Group. This is my first experience dealing with a contractor, and I had no idea how difficult it was to find a good one! After much searching and dealing with many companies that didn't call me back or came to give estimates without even bringing a tape measure, it was refreshing to deal with Jim and his employees. They were extremely professional and honest likable people. They provided a detailed estimate and the quote was well below what I expected. Their labor rates are very resonable and I am so happy we hired them. The project is coming along nicely and they have been very helpful!

Excellent work, very competitive, and we highly recommend this contractor. Used them for remodel of 1st bathroom. So pleased that we used them to remodel 2nd bathroom and do light remodel of kitchen. Plan to hire them for some carpentry work in the house as well. Liked their focus on customer service. Always able to reach them by phone. Rick L was our primary contact and carpenter, and he was great to work with. He kept us informed, discussed options, had good ideas, and showed up when he said he was going to. Always called if he was delayed and could not make it. Did an excellent job cleaning up. One of the best contracrtors I've worked with
