Footprints Floors of Virginia

Very pleased with our experience with the Footprints team. Our estimator, Scott, and the work crew led by Jonatan were very professional and thorough. Scott was able to clearly explain the pros and cons of oil-based and water-based polys, and helped me choose a solution that would maximize durability and achieve the look we were hoping for while cutting down on smells and off-gassing. The existing floor had several very dark spots that we already knew were unlikely to be able to be sanded out. Scott was honest with us about which areas would need to be replaced to remove staining, and which could be removed or mostly removed by sanding the existing boards. The team removed the stained boards and expertly laced in new boards to replace them; they also demo-ed a small tiled area next to the wood floor and installed new boards to make it wood floor throughout. The results are phenomenal! If you didn't know where those spots and tile used to be, you'd have no idea they'd been replaced.

I have not had the work done because I am still remodeling a room and don?t want that work done on newly refinished floors. I will have Footprints Flooring do the work at that time.

They were on schedule and on time, courteous and wore protective masks when they traveled through my house. Their work was very good. They could have done a better job cleaning up after the job was done but I am very satisfied.

The installers were courteous, meticulous, asked our opinion, neat and put up 45 tiles with plenty of cuts in about 6 hours. This was a herringbone pattern of glass tile. We have not found a chipped piece anywhere. We highly recommend them!

Great installers, and because the quote was done carefully and accurately, it was in line with what I wanted to spend! 2 other places over-estimated my square footage by 20-40%, which of course drove the overall price up. Mike @ Footprints measured accurately and worked with me on what parts I wanted to do and what their company would do, and I’m happy with the whole process
