Welcome to Floor Coverings International El Paso! We are the premier flooring company serving the El Paso area. We provide high quality design and installation services with the purchase of our latest flooring products including, hardwood, carpet, stone, and tile flooring! Take the guesswork out of getting new floors and schedule your free in-home consultation today! Flooring is made easy, simple, and stress-free with Floor Coverings International El Paso. We understand that each home is special, and therefore requires attention to detail. Our focus, is paying close attention to detail, when it comes to your floors. Whether it is carpeting, hardwood floors, tile, or any of the other options we offer, we carefully treat each design as a custom project, and we work with you to meet your budget and deadlines to install the floors of your dream home. Please note that we do not do carpet repairs or install only. Floor Coverings International has a minimum investment of $2000 per job.

How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because I remembered my dad preaching to me for years about the importance of being your own boss. He came home from the Vietnam War with very little money and a plan to fix up and rent out older apartments. His plan worked out great for him and my mom. So with my dad’s words echoing in my head, I got busy researching franchise opportunities. I worked with a franchise coach and did the homework he gave me. Renovating and upgrading older homes has always been fascinating to me. I may be the world’s most passionate “Fixer Upper” fan. So I was on the lookout for a franchise that would allow me to do something like that. After Discovery Day in Atlanta, I was hooked. I knew from personal experience what a dramatic difference new floors could make to the look and feel of a home. And the FCI folks struck me as genuinely excited about the products and the business. Repair Traditional Vinyl or Linoleum Flooring

Linda Leach measured wrong, therefore partial work was done leaving the floor not level and dangerous for an elderly women. I had to wait 5 months for the work to be completed. She never came to check the work The only time Mrs. Leach came back to my house was to collect payment. I checked the franchise rules, and the policy is that work is to be checked within 5 days of completion. I was very disappointed with the work and would not recommend the company.

Needless to say, we are surprised to learn that this continues to be a concern for this customer two years after the installation was completed. Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
