Brian and his crew (especially Tim) were conscientious throughout the entire process of finishing our basement. A full bath, bedroom with walk-in closet and family room were constructed. The materals and workmanship were all excellent and Brian is a hands on contractor, he was at our home almost every day to check on the progress of the job. The parts of the project that required subcontractors (electrical, plumbing, flooring, hvac) were all completed by professionals who did an excellent job. Again Brian would be there to check on the work done by his Subs and have them correct any issues that he was not satisfied with during the entire project. We felt that the price quoted for the project was very reasonable and the project was completed in a timely manner. We would highly recommend Brian and First State Home & Garden for any of your construction needs, he is an excellent and meticulous builder.

We contracted First State Home and Garden to remodel our main bathroom. This renovation required replacing the existing fixtures, walls, tub, vanity, lighting, and toilet. Brian and his crew worked around the clock for a little under four weeks to get this work done on time and under budget. We were thoroughly impressed with Brian's craftsmanship and keen attention to detail. The work is flawless and every aspect of the job was well thought-out. We were also very impressed with the cleanliness of the entire renovation. Brian and his crew worked hard to minimize clutter and dust around our house. I highly recommend 1st State Home & Garden!

First Stae Home and Garden rates my higest praise. Brian (owner) and his associates provided the highest quality of workmanship at a very reasonable price. They were prompt, friendly, considerate and courteous for the entire duration of the project (bathroom remodel).
