James Finn

I have an extensive experience with Finn's builders (Chris, James, and Kenny) Over the last 3 years they have revamped my ranch style house with innovative ideas, and expert solutions: rebuilding walls and floors of a veranda, redesigning the interior stairs to the basement. They painted and re-organized the garage. They installed Anderson windows in 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms They repaired a walking shower, came up with a clever solution for an uncomfortable shower system. Likewise, they installed electrical outlets and lighting in the living rooms and painted 3 rooms with maximum efficiency and minimum fuss. I like their working style and their ingenuity. I rely on their team for keeping my house in shape and my mind at peace. I recommend them without reservation.

I didn’t just get 1 person, I got 3 working on my projects since he came with his 2 brothers which made the project go much faster. I had an idea about what I wanted but he helped design the deck and added beautiful details to make it look better then I had imagined! They worked straight through the heatwave we unfortunately were hit with right on the dates my deck construction was scheduled for, and though I would have understood if they had said they needed to push back the project until the heat wave broke, they just came earlier in the morning each day to be able to still complete the work within the time I had been told! Very impressive. They also stayed true to the price they originally quoted me even though once getting into to project realized that it was going to take a lot more work since the parts of the old deck which they thought could be reused actually needed to be completely redone from scratch… which they said was not my fault so they were not going to change the jobs cost after it had been agreed to, which I thought was very honorable and refreshing. I am very pleased with the final results and absolutely am happy to suggest them for any deck work you might need. They also cleaned up after themselves and were very attentive to the details I wanted them to match to the original houses look. My home was built in 1880 and I wanted it not to look like a random addition but part of the original plan. They did a great job!

After completing our amazing screened in sun porch (which we spend all our time in now), we hired James and Chris Finn to do all 3 of our bathrooms! They are fantastic. Kept me updated and involved every step of the way and continued to help with other things around the house. Quality beautiful and affordable bathrooms from top to bottom! We will next use these guys to redo our decks!

James and Chris Finn were fantastic to work with. They did a quality job rebuilding my porch at a good price. Friendly guys who are great at updating you from bid to completion. Couldn't be happier... and we hope to work with them again!
