We used Fine Finish Construction to build an outbuilding from scratch, foundation, framing, electrical, exterior and interior finish. The job went well, was completed on-time and on-cost, which is rare these days. Vinnie is knowledgeable and visited the site many times during the construction and his staff are easy to deal with. I would certainly use Fine Finish for future work.

Before hiring Vinnie (Fine Finish) we met other clients in the neighborhood who were using him and they gave him stellar reviews. We met with multiple contractors and not only did Vinnie give us the best price for the services we needed I hired Vinnie to start a project that included redoing 3 bathrooms, complete basement renovation, all windows and siding and they started in April of 2022. Throughout the project we had various changes and additions and he was very accommodating even day of changes and the additional services that we requested were priced reasonably. If I had to remodel the house again or another house Vinnie would be my first call. Thank you so much Vinnie and the Fine Finish team for a job well done.

A construction job is always a daunting task, but thankfully Vinny and the entire Fine Finish staff made this experience a smooth process. Met w/ many contractors and decided to go with Fine Finish for a major home renovation. Chopped off and rebuilt the entire 2nd floor and updated the first floor. Their price was very fair for the amount of work they did. And Vinny knew what he was talking about. Whenever there was a dispute between him and the architect or him and a tradesman, Vinny was always right. He told me at the beginning we would encounter problems along the way, which happens during every project, and not to be surprised. When we encountered problems he discussed options with me and he helped me make tough decisions easier so that we could then move forward. At one point he even got on the phone with me and a window company which shall not be named, to fight on my behalf knowing that they were taking advantage of me. Vinny is a straight shooter, tells you exactly what he is thinking without sugar coating anything. Some people would get turned off by that, but I appreciate somebody who is not going to BS me. There were times that I wished him and his company communicated a little more with me proactively as I felt that I was the one usually reaching out to find out information and see where we were at with the project. But this was during COVID times when contractors were extremely busy. With that being said, any time I reached out to Vinny, he ALWAYS either answered his phone or got back to me. He was not difficult to get in touch with. Lastly, we recently had a very minor problem that we thought might have resulted from the construction that he did which was 2yrs ago. He came over and immediately fixed the problem, agreeing that there is a good chance it was from the work his company did. That is why I'm writing this review today and recommending Fine Finish. It is hard to find somebody who stands by their work, and Fine Finish certainly stands by theirs!

They did everything the right way and did not look to take any shortcuts. They patiently explained everything step by step. Most importantly: the completed work was everything promised. Fine Finish provided a detailed timeline at the outset of our project. We were adding a bedroom to our home in Nassau Shores. We knew what to expect and when, along with a payment schedule. This was very efficient and helpful to us. Their crews showed up on time and completed their tasks completely. I have absolutely no complaints about Vinny and his crews and office staff. House needed remodel thru out from living room, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and the basement. We also added an addition bedroom up on the second floor. Vincent D was very helpful and detailed from the first day we met. Job look a little longer than I expected to finished but it worth the wait. So far we had no leaking or other issues so letâ s hope it keeps it this way. Just keep your eyes on some of the carpenters.
