Know all the facts about the turf before you have it put in. Mario Perez is not truthful. He was asked directly, about the claim of the coolness of the turf, he stated and;Due to the weave of the turf, it gets no hotter than regular grass and; This was not true. On a hot day, (over 100 degrees) the turf in the sun was 143.3 degrees, and the regular grass was 100 degrees. This concerned us, because our puppy goes out on that turf. Many calls and messages were done to Mario Perez no response. Four days, and an email was sent to the company, where Brian McGibbon stated all turf got hot, and to water the turf every 45 minutes. He told us to contact him if we had any questions and he would get back to us. We did, and no response. Mario Perez contacted us and said he has never heard of the grass getting hot. He would work on it. Then a day later he came and said he would put a higher grade of grass down and a new cover underneath. We had the K-9 one, made for dogs. Yeah, it gets hot. In the end, Mario Perez sent a crew to just sprinkle a new top on, thus no new turf or real cover to help. According to Field of Green their product is 30% cooler. Well, according to Mario Perez when confronted with this, he countered what he said, in the length or weave of grass does nothing to cool the grass down. Mario Perez also said, the pictures that were taken of the temp of the turf in comparison to grass and even concrete that day meant nothing to him. Turf gets hot. When confronted with his statement about no hotter than regular grass, Mario Perez stated he does not get to the nitty gritty of temp. So the company has a false statement and the salesman, Mario Perez and his supervisor Brian McGibbon, do not help and tell lies. Also, the area that was done in our backyard was a small area, this was just a joke to Mario Perez when we confronted him. He said it was one of his little jobs and not worth anything. Yep that is the customer service of Field of Greens and Mario Perez. A complaint was filed with the Better Business Bureau, and there was no response from Field of Greens. My point, is, if you get turf know that will get hot. You have to shade it extremely well, or water it every 45 minutes, as Brian McGibbon stated. Which cost more money and wastes water. Also, to save you, DO NOT buy from this company if you want turf. Get it else where.

The whole team was very professional. Mario the Project Manager always checked in to make sure all was going well. I would highly recommend their service. Mario worked well with me on the design due to doing the installation a bit different than they normally install. The putting green came out excellent.

We hired them to install artifical grass in frontyard, we told salesman we wanted 15x18 as we had already designated an area that balanced our yard. Everything seemed fine until day after install. While looking at grass it was off centerded when we called rep he said that is what was ordered (13x18) I would have never had them do the job as I was very specific in what I wanted. There excuse was that we paid for what we received. My statement to them if it wasn't what I ordered how could the order be right. No where on contract does it give any indications of what was ordered was the 270 square feet which is 15x18. Any maps that they said were drawn we never saw and should have had a signature on it stating what we were getting. To reiterate would never had them do the job if they said it was 13x18 so beware customer service if they don't like what your saying or can't get you to believe their lies they hang up. Guys who did job great
