The technician who installed my new garage door opener, mounted the metal arm on my garage door in the wrong location, at the very top of the door. Over the course of a week, this slowly torqued the steel at the top of the door until it failed and bent into a V-shape. I contacted MJ and explained the situation, including sending him photos and videos. He agreed to come out the next day to correct, and as promised, he showed up. Although he was in agreement that his technician should not have mounted the hardware where he did, he still tried to charge me for the material it took to make the repair, even though I had already told him that I wasn't looking to him for compensation for the permanent damage to my door. To his credit, he agreed and charged me nothing. Despite the mishap, I was pleased to see him accept responsibility and cannot complain about his response time, especially in the age of Coronavirus shutdowns.

Hello Daniel So like I said my tech did no mistakes installing the garage door opener for your door your door 50 plus years old and not good quality door so it meant to happen after we did the garage door opener for you couple days later we still promise you to come out and fixed it for you we have nothing to do with your problem to begin with your contractor was there and he did say more then one issue with your door that I fixed even though my technician was there he didn't look for anything else besides the garage door opener that he replace for you which I agree if he find these problem from day one we could be able to charge you for it
