Repair a Deck or Porch

AWESOME! That is all I can say about this company, John is a true gentleman, very professional and, friendly! I called him and left a message to get an estimate, he called me back two hours later, we set something up, and a few days later showed up, took notes, went home and gave me a written proposal the next morning. Very fair price! Not the most expensive, and he wasnâ t the least expensive! You get what you pay for, and I got more than I paid for, he went out of his way to take care of a few things that needed to be done that we didnâ t even discuss, and the best part, no extra hidden charge, which I totally appreciated! His crew is outstanding, very professional, cleaned everything up like they werenâ t there. I highly recommend them, John truly cares about his reputation you will not be disappointed!

If masonry work is on your bucket list John is the man you want. Stone paving, retaining walls, etc. They clean up after they’re done and do excellent work. Highly recommended.

Outstanding job! We had John and one of his workers replace our back porch and were beyond pleased with the end result! They were professional and completed the job in a timely manner. He offered suggestions to improve the railing and it turned out beautiful! They even cleaned up after themselves! Very reasonable prices and very nice people. Would highly recommend.

This company is truly awesome . John and his team know what their doing , we wanted to extend our deck and do improvements in the yard and he sees your vision and does the job to perfection! They are reliable and reasonable. And are quality workers that can do any job professionally and efficiently. All jobs were done in a timely manner and done with quality! We are very pleased with the outcome and Would definitely hire them again. If fact we plan on finishing the other side of the yard and we will definitely call on John and his crew at Farasone Construction. Crew member David was added bonus because he is an expert on carpentry. Deck looks amazing , AND . Everything looks great and all reasonable We are pleased and WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE AGAIN. 5 STARS

HomeAdvisor uses an extensive screening process to screen businesses and business owners/principals. We perform this screening when a business applies to join our network and, if the business is accepted, whenever concerns are brought to our attention. If you have concerns that a pro in our network doesn't meet these standards, please contact us to investigate. We're committed to maintaining a network of trusted home service businesses, and those who don't meet our criteria will be rejected or promptly removed from our network.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
