Reviews
Write a ReviewThey were polite and efficient.
First, on the way out of the driveway, they destroyed the flowerbed of my wife. Literally, destroyed! It is too damaged to be repaired. They did not stop and apologize, or try to make amends in any way, they just left. Second, they did not cut all the wood to the requested no more than 18 in. length. That leaves me with the task of cutting all the longer pieces so I can fit them into our wood burner. One smaller tree they felled they did not section at all, they just left it where it landed. This is other than the one large piece from another tree we requested be kept whole. Third, they left large parts of one of the trees on the lawn of the neighbor. They did a good job of missing their house - the guy in the tree did an excellent job - but leaving large slices of tree in the yard of the neighbor is very unprofessional. Then on the way out, their truck could not get up the hill to the front yard while pulling the chipper, leaving some lovely ruts after several tries. Seemingly in a hurry, they ended up driving on the lawn of our other neighbor to get out, luckily missing the truck of our neighbor and our arborvitae. No request for permission from the neighbor or us. Again, very unprofessional. Fourth, they left quite a mess. Besides the truck ruts, lots of divots where large chunks of the tree fell. Not unexpected but would not there be an attempt to replace the soil a bit to eliminate the ankle twisters? Lots of small branches never made it to the chipper or into piles at least. And sawdust and wood chips were left all over the retaining wall. I did not mind that they set up their chipper at the retaining wall and shot the chips into the back, but leaving the retaining wall covered in tree remnants shows a lack of professionalism and attention to detail. Fifth, well they did get the highest parts of the tree down to the ground, and no one got hurt. About the only positive I can come up with right now. A bit disappointing, really.
Did a great job!
Nothing at this time
I am pleased with the work done for the agreed price that I paid.
Nothing
What we love about this company is it all family owned. We like to help the small companies especially at this time when everyone is struggling to keep afloat. They came out we discussed what we wanted done and they had the time before their next job and got it done. Very easy to work with, did a great job and cleanup. We did not lift a finger. Highly recommend this company!!!!!! Five stars all the way. PS: we will be passing their info to our neighbors.
Fast work, good safety procedures, through cleanup, considerate workers.
My job was okay but very very expensive. Should have only trimmed tree not cut it down. Refer them to neighbor and her whole job was botched including downed wires and disconnect of ground wire. They over charged her by thousands and took the wrong tree down. This company is a total rip off and you need to beware.
They did not do what they promised to do. I had 4 trees near the house and they bid that they would use a climber to cut trees so as not risk hitting the house, or damage the neighbors trees. They cut the trees to fall between my neighbors trees. In the process they fell one of my trees and hit my neighbors tree and damaged it. They did not use a climber as quoted. I also had to do quite a bit of clean up. Also their truck leaked oil and now I have to remove some soil and replant grass where they parked their truck. I think they could be more professional in their approach to the job.
