Francisco was hired to remove the drywall of my bathroom ceiling and replace it with waterproof board backing, topped with waterproof PVC bead board and trim. He knowingly deceived me, installing MDF (wood composite) bead board and finishing it with trim that does not meet at the corners of the room. Instead, he filled gaps with caulking and told me to get it painted by his father. By the literal end of that day, the wooden panels he installed were starting to bubble and warp from the steam of the shower â the very reason I wanted them waterproof. So I knew it was done incorrectly, told him it had to be fixed, and he agreed. From there, he took weeks to order the new material, it went out of stock, and he said I had to wait. I sent him 3 other options online within budget, and his responses predictably slowed to a halt. I asked for a partial refund so I could hire someone to finish the job, and he is still ghosting me despite SEVERAL chances and lots of patience. So here I am, out $1,500 for a job that is not complete. I would highly recommend going with someone else for your project. He is not cheap, does a cheap job, and is just not the stand-up guy I thought he was from our in-person interactions.

He was sure to explain the work as he was conducting it and invite me to observe the progress and ask questions if I had any. Excellent experience and I would highly recommend his services.
