F&J did a great job of gutting and restoring my Motherâ s guest bathroom after a severe water damage had occurred. My mother had passed away shortly after the incident and Jack was great about coordinating the restoration with me, which was difficult after the loss and me living in Fl. He kept his word every step of the way, extremely responsive and professional and I highly recommend his services.

Jake and his team did a great job in our Basement remodel! I will say they did take more time than anticipated, but we are VERY satisfied with the end result and recommend them to anyone!

F and J Construction finished my basement which included a large living room, bedroom, some plumbing and electrical work, and 2 egress windows. Jack and his partner Dave were absolutely amazing. I requested estimates from about 15 different companies and decided to go with F and J. Iâ m so glad I went with them. They were very easy to work with, kindly answered all my questions, and most importantly the work they did was superb. They worked with the contractors and easily completed the permitting process so I didnâ t have to be involved. Even after they finished the job, when we were moving furniture, I scraped the wall. Jack patched it up and painted it even though it was my mistake. I trusted them when I was gone for the weekend and of course there were no issues. Iâ ve recommended them to friends and family members. I will definitely contact them for future projects in my house.

I found F&J Construction through a HomeAdvisor request for a quote to finish my basement and Jack was very prompt to reply. When he first came to our house, he spent a great amount of time asking questions about our vision, giving us ideas, and answering all of my many questions. When our first meeting ended, he encouraged us to talk with others and get other price quotes, to make sure we chose who we were most comfortable with. He provided references and encouraged me to contact them. They all had great things to say. Everything they told me matched my exact experience. He worked hard and did much of the work by himself. The quality is incredible. He had a clear understanding of the time frame needed and stuck to it. All the sub-contractors he hired were trustworthy and did a great job, as well. He always made sure to be the one to let them in our home if we were out. He went way above and beyond what we had expected. He was always willing to help with selections, even if it was after-hours. He would send a picture or a link to different design/layout ideas, which I really appreciated. He knows what styles are trending and encouraged us to veer out of our comfort zone, but he never pushed us in any specific direction. He was always willing to do whatever we ultimately decided on. We sent him pictures we found online of some floating cabinets and shelves, and he figured out a way to construct them exactly to how the pictures looked in a very creative way. He even met me a few different places around town to help me decide on specific details. He used good quality products down to every detail. We are absolutely thrilled with every single aspect of our new basement, and it was all done at a very fair price. I would very strongly recommend meeting with Jack for any type of home renovation, as he was very easy to work with and he actually cares about the quality of the final product, as well as the happiness of the people he is doing the work for.

My wife and I have never had any remodeling work done, so it was a bit overwhelming & intimidating for us to start the remodel process. A few days after initially contacting F&J construction, Jack came to our home to look at our project, and provided us with an estimate. Right away it was clear to us that Jack was very knowledgeable and had lots of experience. Much of our anxiety was relieved after our first meeting. The estimate was competitive with the market and felt it was fair. Our project consisted of an entire basement remodel with a living area, bathroom w/ beautiful custom tile shower, and a bedroom/office. The line of communication keeping us informed about what was going on with our project was top notch. Jack provided us with weekly, if not daily updates on what was being done, and what was next. He always showed up on time and made sure we were satisfied with his craftsmanship, which is spectacular. It was obvious Jack and Dave treated our project as if it was their own basement. We hired Jack initially just to do the tile work for our bathroom remodel, but we ended up having him do almost all of the project. His work was excellent, including installation of marble tile in the shower, and he went out of his way to provide terrific service, and we would certainly use him again.

Jack's work is exemplary. He has an eye for detail, gave wonderful suggestions and his workmanship cannot be surpassed. We had chosen large travertine tiles for the shower and the floor. Jack helped with the design and the result is wonderful. He designed a tiled bench in the shower and it is so nice. He showed up when he said he would. He explained things in great detail. I appreciated that HE was the one that actually did the work. His quote was very reasonable.
