Reviews
Write a ReviewI was EXCEPTIONALLY happy with the services provided by Edwards Construction. Wayne and Jorge showed up on time every single day, kept me well-informed about the progress, and completed two full bathroom remodels in about a month—something I never thought possible. They were incredibly clean, respectful of our home, and a true pleasure to work with. My son still asks when Wayne and Jorge are coming back! Alisa was a lifesaver with design decisions I was stuck on, offering thoughtful guidance that made the final result even better than I imagined. I would absolutely hire them again without hesitation.
Thank you Kendall... It's important to our company that clients respond to questions in a timely manner, make quick decisions if needed and become part of our team. Well, you did all of them extremely well and definitely made our job much easier. Please contact us for future projects, thanks Gary Edwards
We hired to Gary Edwards (Edwards Construction) to add a room in our house in Manteca, CA First day, Gary Edwards (November 1, 2024), demanded an upfront payment of approximately $24,000 that we have to pay, approx. 65% of the project cost. It became clear later that he systematically deceived us at the most vulnerable times. They created extensive delays, added costs after work started and intentionally delayed work. Gary?s was blatantly disrespectful towards us in his tone and demeanor, ridiculing us at times. He came to our house multiple times along with Alisa, his daughter. We told him we discussed making the first 65% ($24000) payment and the rest after the project is complete. They blackmailed us they would not continue unless they get more money. So, we had to make another $10000 (total more than 90%) payment. They then disappeared without completing the work. We recommend completely refrain from Gary Edwards and the company as you will get hurt and defrauded by them.
Is that you, [Consumer Name Removed] & [Consumer Name Removed] on [Consumer Information Removed] in [Consumer Information Removed]? We?ve been trying to reach you for weeks regarding your past due balance. Please contact us to make payment arrangements. In response to your review, we are saddened that you felt the need to try and defame our business. Especially since we were three weeks into your garage conversion project before ever receiving a payment from you. Yes, you paid us the 1st installment on 11/1/24, but the payment was due on 10/23/24, yet we continued with the project in good faith. It would be another two months later before we requested the 2nd installment on 12/30/24. Once again, we had to ask over and over for you to make payment. When we finally received it a week late, you short paid the invoice by $1,500+. You failed to mention that the 5?0/5?0 window you wanted was a special-order item and we informed you it would takes several weeks to arrive. Due to the weather & to keep the project on schedule, we paid out of our own pocket to install a 4?0/5?0 window, to which you agreed. We could go on and on, but the fact is this, we permitted this project with the City of Manteca. And we received the final from the city inspector, who remarked what a well-done job it was. Fact, you still owe us money for the completed permitted work and refuse to pay. In closing, we made every effort to work with you and provide you with excellent service. We went out of our way to accommodate you and the many change orders you requested. We did our best to keep the project moving and on schedule. The end result, you now have a per-code, beautiful new space, that was approved and a final received by the City of Manteca. Should you need to discuss this any further, please reach out to us and we will be happy to discuss with you once the past due balance on the 2nd installment of 3 is received.
After speaking with several contractors, we went with Edwards Construction. Gary, the owner, offered a very competitive quote and answered many 1001 questions. He was very forthcoming about everything. The crew, especially Marc, paid great attention to detail, was prompt every morning, extremely professional, and was just great at accommodating my eagerness. The work was high quality, and now my bathroom looks awesome!
The team was awesome on taking care of all of our requests for our new home.
Love the way my ceiling came out they made sure everything was the way I wanted it. Quality 100% good
They work as a team and are very professional. You always have a team leader to communicate with if you have any questions. Excellent team workers.
The project was top notch. Not only did they consistently show up on time, but they finished the project early and were willing to reschedule the final walkthrough multiple times to accommodate our schedule. Final project turned out great!"
