Ernie and his team know what they're doing! Despite some "surprises" they overcame every obstacle. They were efficient, pleasant to work with, detail oriented and very reasonable. I would highly recommend them for any household project.

The owner of this business Ernie Hicks is absolutely wonderful! This is a great company and we plan to use them for all of our future projects for our 100 year old house. They were responsive, right on time, did a great installation and painting job! We are extremely happy! We highly recommend EH and Son Contracting! With our beautiful new door the house looks like it got an entire facelift!

EH and Sons did a GREAT job. From quote to finish they were professional and kept me in the loop. Clean up was good and the job was completed exactly as I had hoped. Planning on having them in for more projects.

Based on the reviews here, I hired E.H and sons to do a full Home Renovation , to include 3 Bedrooms , a Bathroom, living room and Kitchen, the Project's were never given the attention and Manpower they deserved, and the projects that were completed ,were not done in an organized and planned way, despite having many conversations with the Owner ?Earnie Hicks?, things did not change, I was quoted 3 Weeks for the completion of the Bathroom renovation and they ended up taking over 3 Months, in the most disorganized , backwards working practices I?ve seen, it took them 3 months and 3 different thermostats to get the radiant heating to work properly, the Plumber and Tile person had one speed and that?s Slow, and if it hadn?t been for my constant interventions and supervision of the Work, i think they?d still be working on it, Earnie rarely sent more than one worker over at any given day, and they work at a Snails pace , and as a rule with very few exceptions, don?t work on Saturdays. The Painting that was done looked like it was done by 2nd grade School Children, and when I commented about it to the worker, he said they do not use Painters Tape, what a Joke ! My patience finally ran out after going through these issues for Months and having to intervene as much I did, I threw one of his workers out of my House during the Bathroom fiasco, and refused entry to the painters when they Showed up to supposedly make things right, yet couldn?t tell me when they would finally finish, or even showed any sense of urgency at completing the Job, this Company has no consideration for the Homeowners time or the inconvenience caused by the slow disorganized work that they provide, I asked Earnie to either send a Crew of workers over to complete in a days time, the work that I already paid for , or give me a partial refund and I would finish it myself, despite him saying that we would ?work it out? I never heard back from him , so I kept equipment, tools and Materials stored at my House as collateral against the Money he owes me and finished it myself. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking to get sizable Projects done in a timely, Professional, Organized manner. I have Since Hired another Company to do the Kitchen and other projects that need to be done , and the difference is Night and Day.

EH and Sons did an excellent job. They were timely and accurate with their quote and their work. There was constant follow up during the project to make sure items were being addressed. In fact the workers stayed late in order to make sure the job was completed in a timely manner. The workspace was always kept neat, and the project area was well protected preventing any damage to the rest of our unit. Being new to the area, I relied on Homeadvisor.com to recommend a suitable contractor. I am very pleased with the choices I had and extremely happy with the work EH and Sons did.

I hired Ernie for multiple projects, including a bathroom renovation and bedroom renovations. Ernie and his team of exceeded my expectations. The bathroom is stunning, as are my three newly renovated bedrooms, hallway and kitchen walls. I would not hesitate to hire Ernie again. He communicated with me regularly, and his team were very professional, hardworking and polite.

Brian did great work and was very professional. He redid the outside framing of our door using a material that wonâ t rot like wood. Ernie, the owner came by before and after the job was done and we were very happy to see that this company stands by their work. We will definitely use them again for future projects.

They thought it was easy to install new door plus handle, it took over 2hours but they did a great job.

E.H. & Sons were remarkable. Mine was a rather simple project but, Ernie (the owner) and his team, demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail that you might see only in a major project. Ernie was punctual for our initial appointment, then responded with a fare and professional estimate with 24 hours. George, the carpenter was punctual, polite, hard working and his work was outstanding. Iâ m sure the job took more hours then the original estimate, but Ernie was true to his commitment. Because of their work, I have decided to hire E.H. & Sons again would strongly recommend them to neighbors and friends.

These folks were extraordinary. They were hard workers and expert in all they did. Further, the owner of the company stopped by on many occasions to check the work and to learn whether we were satisfied. All were most conscientious . We will be using them for future projects. We have already recommended them to friends.
