I hired Don for popcorn ceiling removal for $2,300. I was told painting would be an optional additional service for about $2,000, so I planned to do the painting myself. After the popcorn was removed, many ceiling-to-wall edges had gaps, rough areas, cracks, and needed significant sanding, patching, and caulking before painting. I was not told beforehand that this level of repair work might be required. I also paid an extra $300 for orange peel texture based on Don's recommendation, but his crew later told me manual texture would have been a better choice for my ceiling. But he never adjusted the price. When I asked for a quote to repair the edges only, I never received one and was only offered the full $2,000 paint package. My issue is communication and transparency. I would not have hired him if I knew it would go like this.

Don's crew are finishing up the painting of our home in Costa Mesa, in the flower streets neighborhood by South Coast Plaza. They covered the walls floors all the way out to their trucks. The quotes I got for this job was 1/3 of 2 other companies. These guys are pros. Great crew. Popcorn gone Wed. Today is Friday and they're painting the ceiling today. You won't need to get quotes from anyone else, believe me. I decided to check on Angi's list, and Don was the first to call, explained the whole process, and gave me the quote right then. No upsell, no bs ! Thanks Don seriously, your crew did a great job, and left zero mess! Outstanding job

Patrick and Michael, from Don’s ceilings, work very well together and they were on time and worked very hard every time they were given a new assignment. They removed the old popcorn from many bedrooms and many other vaulted ceilings. They did excellent work. The outside entry and floors and walls were well protected and the several ceiling fans did not slow them down. We only had to remove the items from the top shelves or pictures from the very top of the walls. Don, give these guys a nice raise.

Called Don for a quote, agreed on the date for work to be done. His crew arrived on time, they were very courteous and professional. All the work was completed in one day as quoted. They cleaned up as if they were never even there. The price quoted did not change. The drywall work and texture look amazing. I will recommend to others looking for a great drywall finishing company.

This customer ceilings were painted on. We tried for hours to scrape. They wouldn?t come off. We had to plaster over them. They were living in the home and we were able to plaster over the ceilings and hand texture in one day so they didn?t have to move out we only charged them extra because of the material cost to plaster over the ceiling sometimes you can?tmake a great ceiling if the ceilings are in terrible shape underneath as hard as we try.
