I will never hire Diamond Fence again - or recommend them to anyone. They did a very poor job - left big concrete posts protruding above the ground rather than having them covered in the ground. They cut up my grass in order to allow the gate to swing open - and never repaired it. The gate never has closed correctly because it is misaligned to the fence. They left concrete splatter on the fence and driveway. When we asked them to fix it, they took no responsibility. Their ads for satisfaction guaranteed are a lie - and I, like most people, would rather pay twice as much for a job well done than pay a so-called, "good price" for a poor job. I recommend you take your valuable time and hard-earned money elsewhere. - Debbie Ekker

The only Ekkers we did business with was for a neighbor split back it 2022, over 3 years ago, who happily paid their invoice in full. I?m sorry you had a bad experience with someone?if it were with us we?d definitely take care of it. We don?t take any money up front so we don?t get paid until the project is completed to the clients standards. We wish you the best!

I had a great experience with Diamond Fence. The estimator was knowledgeable and arrived in time and provided a detailed quote the very next day. Once I accepted the estimate the installation was smooth and fast. They explained the process and the timelines and communicated everything throughout. I now have a new beautiful fence and they were very affordable! I highly recommend Diamond Fence!

These guys did a terribly sloppy job. They finished with concrete splatter all over the stucco exterior of our house and on the driveway, as well as dripped concrete on our paving stones. I contacted Diamond Fence several times to get this cleaned up and they continually promised, over 3 months to fix it, but never showed up. They did not do a good job at communicating throughout the installation process either. They never let us know when people would be coming to do each part of the job and are not responsive to email outreaches. Very disappointed.

We're committed to maintaining a network of trusted home service businesses, and those who don't meet our criteria will be rejected or promptly removed from our network.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
