Del Rey Paving

Del Rey Paving exhibits predatory sales practices, failure to deliver on promises, inadequate design, errors in construction, failure to abide by warrantees, seeking funds out of contract in order to maintain ?good faith? relationship, unresponsiveness, and poor service. After a very high-pressure sales pitch (disguised as a design meeting) with all the accoutrements (fancy PowerPoint demonstration, a copy of their impressive surety bond, commitments that they will stand behind us, and a discount that magically expired the same day) and a commitment that the 25-year warrantee covers everything but seismic and trees, Del Rey Paving completed our $72k backyard paver project in September 2023. Over the next few weeks, the pavers began to separate, sag, and crown. Also, the drainage in many areas was toward the house, not away from it. They did come back a couple of times to remove pavers, recompact, and reset.

We love our new driveway!!! It completely transformed the look of our property. Del Rey Paving team are very professional and helpful. They maintained communication throughout the waiting process, and the work was done sooner and faster than we expected. We will definitely use them again when it's time to seal the driveway. Highly recommend!

they knocked it out of the park, prompt professional and did a great job. Had an issue that they didn't cause with the pickle ball net and they are coming back to assist. They did a complete overhaul of the area and filled in bad areas, 2 sealer coats and painted a perfect pickle ball court. We are going to use them to do the other parking area when it needs it. Polite and professional.

I needed my driveway repaired and resurfaced. Prior to contacting Del Rey, a paving contractor told me the drive had to be completely torn up, re-graded, rock foundation installed, over which two layers of asphalt would be laid. Needless to say, the estimated cost was far more than I could afford. When I contacted Del Rey, Billy he said there was no problem in resurfacing the existing drive and within a week, the job was done at a reasonable price. The only problem was that the morning they started working, the truck delivering the asphalt broke down on the freeway. Instead of postponing the job, Billy got another delivery and then kept his crew working almost until the evening to get the job done as promised.

Billy came out to my place, gave me a comprehensive estimate for what would actually fix my asphalt driveway, and then was very easy to communicate with about setting up the work. Perhaps most importantly, they actually showed up when they were supposed to! And the work is a massive improvement over our previously cracked, potholed driveway, and they cleaned up everything also. Very happy with our choice, price was very fair as well.

I called Billy on a Sunday and to my wonderful surprised he called me back the same day and said that he would be over tomorrow on Monday at 830AM. He showed up 30 minutes early ready to get to work which was amazing! His price was very fair. Billy and his crew are super nice and they did a wonderufl job! I HIGHLY recommend them. Repaired, sealed, re-striped and did a build-up to level surface for ADA compliance in small retail parking lot. Communicates well, timely, and stayed until the job was completed. Easy to work with, great work.
