These applications can be done interior or exterior and to serve many purposes. We have a variety of treatments to custom fit each individual projects' needs, circumstance, and budget. How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because I grew up working in Construction. My father ran a Painting & Drywall business my entire life. I have always enjoyed working with my hands finding creative ways to show my skills. I always had a love for working with wood. I took many years of carpentry training building cabinets, installing trim, and making furniture. But when I was offered a summer job Acid Staining new concrete slabs, I fell in love with the industry of decorative concrete. We took plain gray concrete and completely transformed it to become a gorgeous finished product resembling marble. We would score patterns such as tile or wood planks, stain with vibrant colors, mix to create beautiful color variations, and then seal for protection. In the past 10 years, my experience and understanding of the trade has evolved by learning many other techniques of treating existing concrete surfaces, which are all now offered by DecoCrete Services. I enjoy my work because it is not just work, but it is an art-form..

Apply concrete finish, overlay, or coloring to existing concrete

Devin was very professional from start to finish on our project. He started from the removal phase of tile in the bathroom and carpets in the bedroom, then turned our concrete floors in our master suite into a dream! Top of the line product and excellent customer service and attentiveness. Each timeframe for the project was complete on time. Overall, we had a great experience and now 3 years later we still love our floors. Highly recommend.

Repair a Brick or Stone Fireplace (Gas)

Beautiful work and craftmanship. He blew us away with the design and quality. We love the low maintenance. We would hire again, anytime; and I recommend him highly. I was a flooring installer for years and if I would have known, you could do this inside a home, I would have done it years ago. I had a high end decorator come to the house and swore this was real wood in the master bedroom when it was just decorative concrete. It's absolutely beautiful.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
