Anthony S and John C arrived on time, were high energy I and I got a lively presentation on all things window. The experience was very enjoyable. Anthonyâ s presentation was , precise. Informative and I know Iâ m getting a good window. I have only dealt with the sales crew at this point so I canâ t say how the rest of my experience will be but Anthony is a heck of a good salesman. Do not hire this company. I was told I was getting triple pane. It is double pane. I had broken items, broken floor tile, holes in the wall, scraped paint a lot of repair work. No dog door which had been a deal breaker. The windows are nice but I would hire SOMEONE ELSE to install. Several neighbors and friends have asked, but I just cannot recommend THIS company.

DaBella is unreliable and skipped two appt times without a call. I rescheduled with them from one time to another because of a conflict with another contractor. The second time no call no show. Additinally, the phone number listed on this app Angi, is a press this number win that prize, phone number. Very hard to reach and not serious about the sale and service. Sad, when 10-20k is on the line for windows, I take it very seriously. I guess DaBella does not.

Highest recommendation....5 Star experience starting with our Sales Consultant Shawn Casey. He took the time to understand not only our need to replace 8 windows, but what mattered to us in order to earn our business. His technical knowledge or the product, industry and genuine enthusiasm for DaBella made the decision easy. The follow through by the installers and attention to detail made the cost of the project worth while. We are very happy with our new windows and the entire experience.

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
