Write a Reviewmake sure you get bid in writting
When quoted I wasn't quite sure exactly what needed to be done and felt the $500 bid was fair since I was in a bind (rain was leaking into the house). When the crew arrived, I was surprised that the fix was only to replace some rubber-type fittings around the roof vents and seal the area around them. The job was done quickly and, since there haven't been any further detectable leaks, correctly. I was only charged $450 for the 1-hour job but didn't complain only because I knew it was saving me some additional damage. Honestly, with parts, supplies and labor, I feel it should have been more of a $300 job. I would, however, hire this company again because I feel Mr. D is a good contractor. He came out the day after the bid and the work was completed neatly. I had 2 other bids (one quoted that the roof needed to be replaced and the other one identified the same problem but could not get to the job as quickly as Mr. D's crew) so I feel Mr. D is an honest business man. Had I not been pressed for time I feel I may have been able to negotiate a better price.
I was so disappointed in the "work". The price was $950 and all they did was spread some sealant over the existing shingles and flashing. Hey if the sealant works for the leaks, fine. But $950 is excessive for the "work" that was done. When I originally questioned the price, Mr. D said the materials were about $500. $500 for about 1/2 gallon of sealant??!!! And the job took less than 2 hours, so $225 per hour for labor?!! Like I said, the price was excessive. And Mr. D left the job before it was finished, leaving his workers to finish the job. The only reason I gave the 0.5 rating is because they were on time. I do intend to make a call and let Mr. D know how unsatisfied I am.
very professional
Pressure washed, replaced trim, and painted exterior. Crew worked in a timely fashion. All were courteous. Cleaned up when they were finished.
Very professional
The employees who performed the work were polite and worked well together. The owner worked with them as well, overseeing the work, giving them guidance and performing task with them. The driveway was circular and sloped. They made all the adjustments I asked and on the day of the pour it rained right after all the concrete was poured. The employees and owner covered the concrete and waited for the rain to stop. They would uncover the concrete and work it, when the rain started again, they would cover it and wait. This went on for four hours. At the end of the day my driveway and walk way was exactly as I have planed, it in my head. I would recommend them to any one that needs concrete work done. I will use them again. I forgot to add that they were $3,000 cheaper than other bids I requested. They are reasonably priced. Best experience!
Pressure washed siding, painted trim & made minor repairs on time & in a professional manner.
They came on time and got right to work. They put a layer of brown paper to walk on to get to the work area and everything was cleaned up before they left. I will hire them again to do some other jobs in the future. Thanks Chicken nice job!
On April 5th I asked for an estimate, through Home Advisor, to build a deck. The following morning I received a call from Demoine with D&D Construction. Demoine, compared to others, gave me a great price. The following Day I called Demoine and asked when he could get started. He was at my home with his crew the following morning. It is a big deck that he was able to complete in a day and a half. The deck is great and very well constructed. Demonie explained exactly what they were doing, type of wood and other material and how long it would take. D &D is starting on a Pergola to cover the deck. I would highly recommended D & D Construction. Demoine and his crew are
