Cunningham Construction (Paul and Vicki) helped us navigate a fairly complex remodel where we moved a laundry room to our garage and replaced the laundry with a shower creating an downstairs guest space with it's own bath and shower. Paul and Vicki adeptly managed the permitting process across our county and township. Paul's attention to detail showed through in the planning and execution. The project involved managing electrical, plumbing, painting and custom shower installation teams, drawing up architectural plans for the home, and leveraging a deep cross functional set of skills from framing, drywall, texturing, tile, door framing, procurement of materials and disposal. Their professional and detailed approach was further enhanced by their down-to-earth collaboration, explanation and high quality execution. Our project took time to get right, and the accounting for materials, labor and schedule were detailed and accurate. I would be so happy to work with them on future projects!

Paul and Vicky Cunningham recently completed a bathroom, bedroom and laundry room remodel for us. We have had numerous remodels on our 60 year old home over the years, but the project completed by Cunningham Construction was by far the smoothest and highest quality work to date. The bathroom was a complete gut job. They installed beautiful new tile on the floor and in the shower. The attention to detail Paul has with regard to grout lines and leveling surfaces to make the project look even more aesthetically beautiful is incredible. New vanity and shower fixtures/door, mirror, lighting, painting...all done with the same care and detail he does everything. Things that we did not even notice were imperfect, he brought to our attention and fixed. The bedroom was more simple - replaced flooring and painted. Laundry room got new floors, multi level countertops installed with waterfall quartz, and cabinets painted and new hardware installed. It's simply beautiful and better than we could have imagined. I cannot emphasis enough the quality of their workmanship and desire to make sure we were happy every step of the way. They cleaned up meticulously daily, texted us at the end of the night to check in and ask if there were any issues, and advised us appropriately when needed for issues that arose. There were never any surprises. To top things off, Paul and Vicky are probably two of the nicest people you ever want to meet and have in your life. I highly recommend them for any and all projects . You will get top notch service and high quality craftsmanship.

We had Cunningham Construction replace a laundry room to garage door & frame and a garage exterior door and frame. Excellent craftsmanship quality work. Paul and Vicki outlined the work and performed as stated. Final project turned out great!

Itâ s not very often that I am so satisfied with a service that I feel the need to express it back to the company and to the public. However, this is one of those times. I want to give a big shout-out to Cunningham Construction for the fine wallboard work they did behind the shower enclosure in the bathroom of my rental property. From the time I first called for the bid, up until the job was completed, Paul (the owner) kept in touch with me every step of the way. Even the bid itself included each step to be performed so that I understood the cost of the job, which itself seemed to be a very fair price. The work that I needed done was very small in comparison to the much larger jobs that I'm sure Cunningham Construction is known for, but they still made me feel as if I was a big customer. They were very punctual, safety cautious and reported back to me daily, almost as if I was their boss. And I should also mention, they kept the jobsite cleaned up at the end of day. So, would I hire them back in the future? In a heartbeat!

Our detached garage was in bad shape - leaky and sagging roof, wood rot, and broken and missing fascia boards. Paul and Vicki from Cunningham Construction came to the rescue with a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, craftsmanship and problem-solving. They also were able to not only do it within our budget, for much less than any other quotes we received, and in the estimated timeframe. Our garage is in good shape and looks much better than before. To top it all off, Paul and Vicki were great to work with - honest, dependable, flexible and considerate. Paul and Vicki with Cunningham Construction are miracle workers and true masters of their craft! We had previously used them for another renovation project in our East Bay home. The results were fantastic and we received countless compliments from real estate agents, neighbors and potential buyers when we put our home on the market. In fact, we actually sold our home much higher than even larger sized houses in our neighborhood. Throughout the renovation process, we were so impressed and spoiled with their expertise, professionalism, honesty, patience and amazing personalities, that we refused to work with any other contractor except Cunningham Construction for the renovation of our South Bay home. From ceiling to floor, Paul and Vicki fully constructed a new kitchen, living/dining room, bedroom and two bathrooms on the first floor of our house all from wood studs and a concrete foundation. Before our very eyes, the dark 1970's nightmare that used to be our bottom floor was transformed into a beautiful and efficient/functional space that will serve our guests and potential renters for years to come. At the end of each day (as customary for Paul/Vicki), we were provided a thorough update on everything completed that day as well as plans for the next day -- followed by a thorough clean-up of the area. We always felt completely informed throughout the entire process and, unlike other contractors, 100% of their time and attention was fully dedicated to us for the duration of our project. Paul/Vicki were able to address all of our questions and concerns and even help provide us many options to keep our costs as low as possible. Estimates were detailed and thorough, and every aspect of the job met and exceeded our specification demands. All work was performed to existing code and numerous permit inspections were performed throughout the job due to its size. Even the inspectors with the city commented on how flawless their work was, especially compared to most other jobs that they see. Therefore, we are extremely pleased and have full confidence and complete peace of mind in our final product. If you are looking to hire a contractor who you can trust to perform the BEST work possible for your biggest home/business investment(s), look no further. Paul & Vicki came to dismantle and remove a failing arbor from my backyard. They completed the job in half a day and cleaned up after that. they also removed the concrete footing from the ground and patched all the exposed surface with a layer of cement. There is no trace of old arbor left in the yard. Very good, job well done.

Vicki and Paul and their son did a wonderful job! They refurbished our large lattice work and replaced our backyard decking. They were nice, clean, and reasonably priced.
