Chris responded promptly to come give an estimate. His price was reasonable, and he was able to schedule us in a timely manner. His crew showed up on time and they were polite and courteous. That is where the good things that I have to say about Creekview wood floors end. I asked Chris at least three times if he needed to bring the wood to my house beforehand to allow it to acclimate, he said that was unnecessary. Despite hearing from other sources that it was absolutely necessary, I decided to defer to Chris's expertise. Two months later I have gaps between boards as wide as an 1/8 of an inch. He attributes this to seasonal.wood movement. I know there will be some movement, but gaps that you can fit fit two quarters into a (with room to spare) are completely unacceptaunacceptable. This is over 1/8 inch wide. Chris's response to this was to hang up on me.

Floor & steps look great but it was a bit on the expensive side. Chris was very professional, completed the work in the timeframe promised and my living room floor beautifully restored! Would definitely recommend.

The estimate was for refinishing wood floors that had been carpeted for decades. The owner stated that the wood underneath was good and could be refinished. However, when the carpet was totally removed, he said there was not enough wood to finish. Since our furniture was removed we elected to get new flooring, red oak. The whole process took two weeks, since the coating had to be re-sanded to remove the dust specks and bubbles. We appreciated the final product.
