GNT Construction

This guy agreed to repair the porch to be similar to my deck. On the 2nd day he asked for money for supplies. On the 3rd day he took me to the steps which he had removed and said it would take several hundred more to repair. I asked him about uneven wood placement and screws that were in at angles and looked bad. He assured me he would make it all right and look good. It was Friday. He wouldn't be back until Monday. I took a good look at his work. Discovered he had cut all the spindles much shorter than agreed upon and they were installed upside down in comparison to what was requested. The steps had been attached with 2 screws "temporarily" and not attached to the hand rails at all. A big safety issue. I felt very uncomfortable having him continue. He was discounting my requests and not paying attention to what I'd asked him to do. I did not feel like I was going to get a fair shake from him and chose to not have him finish.

Hired nate to repair a chimney chase. He did an alright job but wanted to get paid before he even cleaned up the job site. He did repaint the repaired area but I guess he couldnt be bothered enough to take the time to get matching paint. So it looks horrible. Additionally he was specifically told verbally and via text that the house was a rental and the tenant was abdolutely not allowed to request any work or make changes. He proceded to tear apart the front porch of the house when asked to do so by tenant and when we confronted him on it he left it all a mess and also kept the $500 that she gave him. He communicated fairly well. Not very profesional and I definately will not use hom again nor recommend him to anyone. 2 pics are the mess still there when he wanted to get paid.

Nate was professional and courteous and knew exactly how to do the repairs and even had with him the swatches to match the color siding I needed on the spot.. The price he quoted stayed the same so there were no surprises. I was very satisfied with his work and he cleaned up his work area when he was done. I will definitely hire him again to do some other work on my home.
