Mike and Mason replaced and extended decks on the front and back of my house, replaced all the windows and doors, and replaced most of the plywood/siding on the house - had some rot from previous storms of which I was unaware. Mike kept me informed every step of the way and was very easy to work with. Mason is a very capable young man and a hard worker. Everything was done in a timely manner -despite the unexpected damage uncovered - and they completely cleaned inside and out once finished. All the work was outstanding and looks amazing. Any future jobs I have, I will be using Colley Construction.

Mike and Mason have done numerous jobs for us, Previously, he had rebuilt our back decks, and performed repairs and remodeling after Florence. The latest project was demolishing and reconstructing our two-story front decks. The design he came up with is very unique and attractive, no cookie cutter here, They arrived at the job on time exactly as promised. They used nothing but first rate materials. Mason is a FIRST RATE craftsman, and a great young man; he and built our entire deck by himself in just a few days. The only problem is that he was slowed down just a bit because he was interupted so often because every person who walked by had to stop and admire the work! When he was finished, all of the debris was hauled away promptly, and the place was left as clean as they had found it. I also work at the HIstoric Assembly Building in Topsail Beach. Because we were so satisfied with the Colleys work, I have hired him for a couple of jobs in the building, even though he was priced a couple of bucks higher. The results were no different. Now, for home or the AB, I will hire no other carpenter.

Prompt return of calls,professional and always willing to explain every step. (Did a sky light repair) and several other things. Cleaned up all debris and hauled away, called me at the end of the day if the project wasn;t going to be finished to explain why. Did a fantastic job, definitely will hire them again. We own a beach house on North Top Sail Island, N.C. Hurricane Florence badly damaged the place. We hired Colley Construction to make repairs, it quickly became apparent that there were severe structural issues in the house framework and support beams in addition to all the hurricane damage. Mike and his crew effectively rebuilt the entire house, all exterior walls had to be torn out, ledger boards replaced, floor joists replaced, new DP50 (hurricane) windows and insulated siding installed, new decks and stairs, all exterior doors, vinyl tile floors, bathroom toilets, showers and vanities. We also had to have the kitchen area rebuilt, we replaced the electric stove with gas at the request of my wife and also had quartz counter top installed, new dish washer, fridge and built in microwave. Mike Colley also acted as general contractor for some jobs that required specialists such as drywall finishing. Thru out the re-building process which took about 5 months to complete, Mike kept me informed and supplied me with many dozens of pictures of before and after work and I felt well-informed, (even though I was 600 miles away) as to what was done to the house to get it back into shape. In fact, it is much stronger and storm resistant than before. Mike also made suggestions which greatly improved the appearance of the underside of the house by installing white soffit underneath and painting the pilings. Mike also installed what looks like bridge piers mounted on concrete under the outside stairways for added stability. When ever there was a question about what building materials to use or construction approach I told Mike to use the best practice, and he did. Now we have a beach house that is both beautiful and solid. I am glad we had such a good contractor to restore our home, lasting thanks to Mike, Mason and Joey and the crew who delivered us from this disaster.

This was the third big project I hired Mike for and he did not disappoint...complete kitchen remodel which looks amazing. His attention to detail and the quality of this kitchen is high end. It included converting a pantry into a bar area which was a bit unique that Mike really paid attention and delivered on our vision with the space.

I had roof damage from Hurricane Florence and hired Mike to replace entire roof. He jumped on it quickly and first installed tarps on damaged area to ensure no additional water damage. Then quickly ordered material and installed new roof to perfection. 110% satisfied with finished product.
