They responded quickly to my request. The quoting process was fast and easy. The work was accomplished right away and appears to be well executed. My only criticism : The job site could have been tidied up better. Clods of dirt, wrappings from hardware items, small pieces of wood, and snack wrappers were left behind. I'm surer that at the end of a big job clean-up is a bit of a drag, but it would have gone a long way to make me excited about recommending Coastal to my friends.

Quality and on schdele

I was pleased overall with Coastal Lumber, which we hired to replace a fence. I got an estimate right away, and the work was done in a timely manner. My only real complaint is that I was not notified about when the installers would come, a critical miss, frankly, when arrangements need to be made for children and dogs. I even called ahead of time to make sure I would be contacted when we were put on the schedule, so imagine my surprise when I was running errands one day and my husband called to say, "They're here!" It was a mad scramble to contact my neighbor, who had to rush home from work to make sure her dogs were secured. While we are happy with the result, a simple phone call could have alleviated a lot of stress.

Friendly, courteous, professional, and fast. Did a wonderful job replacing 77 feet of backyard fence. Highly recommended!

They were fantastic to work with.

The 2-person crew was fast and efficient. They were at my home at 8am, started tearing down the fence immediately. These 2 men did not waste any time or movement in tearing down old fence, laying out materials for the new fence, then putting up the new one. They also had to make a change, adding a new portion, and took it in stride. They finished that same day, about 7pm and the new fence looks amazing!

The crew and manager were great and they were prompt, courteous, and friendly. I will recommend them to anyone I know who needs a fence and a gate to go with it,

Fast service in getting a quote and starting/finishing my fencing job - all done in 3 days! Quote came in a fair amount lower than a couple other places I think because they are a lumber supply company that also does fencing so I'm guessing their materials costs are lower. Very satisfied!

The follow up is not up to par. Make sure everything thing is the way you want it before you pay, otherwise you are going to have to fix it yourself.
