Absolutely excellent people to work with. John Shaw is very professional, trustworthy and helpful with good advice; I couldn't ask for better quality workmanship. After he did a repair job on outside stucco, he then had Emilio do a painting job in my house that was perfectly beautiful and he cleaned everything up well. So glad I found this contractor and will hire them again soon for their excellent work.

I have finally found the contracting company I trust! After my first experience with Citywide Contractors, I can say that John Shaw, and the men who work for him, are good, honest people who provide excellent service which results in a high quality job for a reasonable price. John was available within minutes whenever I needed to speak to him and did everything he said he would do. He came out promptly to give me an estimate and started our work within a reasonable amount of time. The prep work on the exterior of the house included thorough cleaning as well as skillful patching of a bad Texcote job done years ago by another company. Care was taken to cover areas not to be painted and everything was meticulously cleaned up at the end of each day. The job was completed in a timely manner and my house looks beautiful. We are looking forward to using Citywide on our next project!

When John bid my exterior paint job, he took me, step by step, around the property, explaining the details of how the house would be prepared prior to painting, and told me exactly what he planned to do. His bid was in the middle of the three I obtained. The lowest was a painter I had used before, but his work was less than great. I chose Citywide based on their many years of experience, and because of the reviews I read. John Shaw is a general contractor as well as a painter. I had him do some minor structural repairs as well. He was helpful with color selection. His team showed up each day, right on time and prepared to work. His crew works efficiently, and they cleaned up after themselves daily. John is a hands on supervisor. He followed up with me, and his crew, twice daily, to assure that everything was done correctly, and to my satisfaction. It was. I will gladly use his services again for future painting needs.

John and his crew did an excellent job and went the extra mile in sealing and painting an exterior wall section that was the subject of a leak in our building. They also did a roof repair, once again going the extra mile in patching more than the possible problem area but making sure that all the vent areas were also sealed. Explained everything they would do prior to doing the actual work. John was always available for phone calls. They showed up when scheduled and stayed until the job was done. They even worked on a Sunday to make sure that they finished before it started raining again.

John and his worker were professional and courteous. Price was in the middle of the bids. Good quality work with very informative explanation of the process. They not only did a great job on the fence, they also painted and fixed a rusted gate which looks brand new again.

What a great experience to use Citywide. John give a reasonable bid. He wasn't too high and he was not the lowest but he explained clearly what he would do. We needed all of the trim, windows, doors, gutters painted around our house and had many areas that had dry rot. John's team showed up on time, did extra work where it was needed and finished the job early. In 4 days for a 2 story home with a detached garage. Their work was exceptional and the house looks brand new. I highly recommend this contractor for his pricing, quality of work, and timeliness to complete the job.
