* Called Martin and scheduled an appt. for him to look at my property. I needed to wait about a week...which I was fine with. * Day of appt., he did not show. I called and he apologized for missing the appointment due to being stuck on a previous job (understandable)...so he reschedules with me for the next day. (I cordially agree) * Next day's appointment...again he did not show. I called and left a message on Martin's voicemail. He never called back. * I made several attempts to call again, but the calls never go through. * I can only assume that Martin has decided that the work I need is not worth his time...and I have wasted a week of my time with a man and his company who show little courtesy and low character towards a prospective client by not communicating with them. * I would have been fine if he had just told me he wasn't interested in looking at my property instead of stringing me along for over a week...only to end up ghosting me. Â

Disclosing our displeasure seems to be an unfortunate maladaptive social norm in today's culture. Through no choice of our own, our firm was forced to deal with a private matter, which was our only priority. We apologize for not getting back to Mr. Baker and missing this initial meeting is no way reflective of our construction performance. Once we start a project we stay until it is completed.

Martin and his crew did a great job removing excess dirt, building a retaining wall and grading out our very unusable backyard space. He checked with us on every step of the project to make sure he was on track with our vision, and made adjustments as necessary. We will definitely call Martin and use Chickamauga Construction for our next big construction project.
