Having built two custom waterfront homes in the area we have dealt with hundreds of contractors and trade professionals over the years. I rarely write reviews, but make exceptions for recognizing truly outstanding work as was the case in all facets of dealing with Matt Hallo and Champions Greens. It is refreshing to know there are still companies that take immense pride in delivering exceptional quality, fair pricing and outstanding communications throughout the process. Matt's team of workers, led by Christian embody the same philosophy of attention to detail, and as hard working as any crew I have dealt with. The end result, well...after the storms ripped our original turf literally to sheds, we could see how the care and preparation in expertise and quality products made to better withstand another storm. You can find lower quotes, but if you want the job done by a team that knows what it takes to do a job right, and ensure customer satisfaction, look no further.

We had approx 9,000 sf of turf installed at the Dog Training Club of St Petersburg in December and was very happy with the entire process. The firm is extremely knowledgeable on all things turf and worked with us to find a specific type needed for our dog agility arena for the safety of our canine athletes and to meet current demand. As a non-profit, we could not afford to shut down for any length of time, and Matt worked out the removal or our old turf and the install of the new turf perfectly and exactly on schedule. His guys worked nonstop until the job was done. Our agility teams love running on the new turf and are turning in faster times. We would recommend Champion Greens for any commercial or residential application.

Matthew and his team at Champion Greens did an outstanding job on my new putting green. I was very specific about what I wanted, and he absolutely nailed it. Champion Greens LLC was recommended to us by our neighbor that used them to do her entire yard and we happy that she did. Our project was small compared to others (125 sq ft) but Matt took his time & gave options for our pet area. The finished project was exceptional! We had a large putting green, chipping areas, driving pad, and aesthetic landscaping done by Matt and his team. In every way they exceeded expectations, not just thru their installation, but their creativity and design skills took what we had in our mind to a whole different level. They helped change a normal backyard into our own little resort we never want to leave.

They are very professional and friendly. They let you know what you need to know about the install and why. I find their price to be compatible to other company's, don't be fooled by the low half the price company's. The yard looks fantastic.
