Carrolls Paving

Mike/Carrols Paving was hired to pave my single car driveway, Our agreement was 3400 dollars and he would take down my carport lattice walls then pave my driveway and reinstall the carport lattice walls. The lattice walls would be a 2 to 3 hour job to reinstall. He did a good job paving my driveway which they finished around 5 late afternoon. He asked for his money and I made the serious mistake of paying him in full. He promised to return on monday and reinstall the lattice walls. He seemed to be a decent guy, However Con men are good at that. It's been about a month, I have called him 10 times he never once returned my call, After 2 weeks went by he one time answered his phone and promised me to come the next day. He never showed up and will not answer my calls. So if you use him make sure you never pay him in advance he will not come back. Or better yet, find someone who wont look you in the eye and lie to your face with with out his conscience bothering him.

After getting three quotes to pave our driveway, Carroll?s stood out, not just for offering the most competitive price, but for their professionalism and insight. We got several different to do our driveway. As soon as we met Mike and got a much more reasonable quote- we said yes on the spot. Mike showed up, did exactly what we wanted and even so much more than expected. We decided a year later we wanted some more paving and he came right out, looked at the driveway, noticed some issues with the batch of material from the plant that was laid down and immediately before doing anything else made it right. When figuring out our new area and the lines we wanted, he offered his expert advice and helped us get what we were looking for. His crew is great, too! So friendly, knowledgeable, and fun! It was great to see them having fun and working hard. 90+ degrees and humid is not fun conditions for this type of job but never once did they complain. Mike is Great! Best price around. He and his crew spent the day in the 85+ degree heat doing my rather large circular driveway. Being my first paved driveway, Mike took the time to explain how to care and maintain it. We were having some water pooling issues with our gravel driveway, they tapered and leveled where needed. Hard working.

I was hesitant at first to try Carrollâ s paving because I havenâ t heard much about them. Iâ ve hired four different paving companies in the passed 7 years for separate driveways and hands down Carrollâ s was much better. They came in 15% less in price, and their quality was awesome! I was quoted for top coating the entire driveway, unfortunately once Carrollâ s started it came to their attention much of the driveway needed much more repair. They never hesitated and just started the necessary repair. I was very concerned, not knowing if the final price would be higher than I could afford. After discussing the issues, I was told buy the owner Mike, it wouldnâ t cost me any extra cost, however they couldnâ t just top coat because it would fail in the near future. They pride themselves in only doing top quality paving and would ensure our driveway was perfect. They did exactly that, our driveway is the absolute best quality my wife and I ever seen. I would recommend Carrollâ s paving over any company in central Maine!
