Capital City Landscape Development

Large drainage project. Replaced drain channel with larger channel across concrete driveway. Replaced all perforated drain pipes in front yard with solid 4" pipes. Connected both the driveway channel and roof drain pipes to front yard pipes. Connected all drain pipes to underground sump pump container. Work was done on time. Price was reasonable. Very pleased with results and no more driveway or front yard flooding.

Our experience with Capital City Landscape Development was the best experience we have ever had with a contractor. We needed a major redo on our small backyard that that borders a preserve. Mark helped us with a designer to clarify our vision. He was patient as we carefully made decisions on our materials. We wanted to include bird feeder stations, and Mark hooked us up with a metal fabricator to build exactly what we imagined. He installed a high pressure misting system for relief from the summer heat. His work was artistic, his charges were reasonable, and his billings were clearly itemized.

Mark and his crew did and excellent job with installing pavers in my backyard. He told me it would take 3 days and they were finished in 3 days. They cleaned up after themselves which I have had contractors before leave their empty water bottles and food wrappers behind. Mark and his crew are professional, friendly and hard workers. I had used Mark 13 years ago when I bought this home and they did a great job with the front of the house. It is unrecognizable from what I had purchased. I was so glad he did not retire and was happy that he was still on Angi's list for me to hire. Great work team.

Mark and the team did an outstanding job. Our drainage was a mess in several places. They methodically identified and cleared out each spot, replacing pipes and digging new trenches. They were very careful with our landscaping, making sure no plants were damaged in the process. They were respectful of our property and cleaned everything up before they concluded the job. I would definitely recommend them.

The reason I chose this company was that Mark didn't try to change my mind about what I wanted. He listened to what I asked for and didn't try to make me do something grander or more expensive. When I asked him for his opinions he was willing to give it, but when I didn't he took what I wanted at face value and didn't try to pressure me into including stuff I didn't want or have me second guess myself. I really appreciated that. He also was conscious of money - he gave me the option of having him order materials for me and then having me call the store and put it on my credit card so I get my travel points. He also let me know about several kickbacks that the county was giving on some of the plants I chose that were drought tolerant.

Mark was great and the quality of work was excellent. Our project was completed as quoted and finished on time. In comparison to other landscaping firms we have hired, Capital City Landscape Development outshined them all.

Mark is extremely busy so be patient. He and his crew are very professional and they were a pleasure to work with. He is very easy going and reasonable. I will reach out to them for future projects.

We had a new drain pipe with a new wood sidewalk & decking over the drain installed. The workers were excellent. Very hard workers. There was a lot of digging for the new drain pipe & wood to be torn out & replaced. We were impressed with the quality of workmanship. The work was completed in a timely manner. Also, the clean up was amazing. We highly recommend this company. The owner & all the employees were polite & answered any questions that we had during the process.
