Mike from Contact Electric came to remove an antique fuse box from the garage. He was on time, pleasant, and professional. The job was done quickly and efficiently at a reasonable cost. So glad I hired Contact Electric.

Excellent experience. Due to a poor installation 23 years ago, water had cascaded through the main panel causing occasional power outages and growing worse. He came within an hour of calling and showed me the issues in detail and explained the danger. I agreed - the panel would need to be replaced. Like most trades, he is very busy - but, he was able to shift work around and did the job today. Came on time, did beautiful work, very reasonable and we're extremely happy with the job. There are a few issues (from the original installation) and we'll be working with Mike again as soon as he's free. I would put a 6 on if I could! Just a tremendous job and experience!

Michael, is a great reliable professional. He not only completed installing the 1 new dedicated outlet for the new sump pump that I needed, but also provided me with a review of electrical issues he found in my home that would need to be addressed to ensure safety. No pressure to do the work asap, but wanted to let me be aware. So when I next needed a full basement electrical renovation. He was my go to professional to design and install new electrical work. We discussed the cost estimate, and one we agreed, he stated the job & kept to the estimate yet he was flexible when i made changes. Now the electrical is up to code. My lights set up is beautiful and most of all I feel good about the entire experience. He won't disappoint you. He's that old school guy who calls it like it is, also funny?. I'd recommend him 100%.

Michael was a class act. Not only did he do amazing work he did the unthinkable. I had cut my hand and rather than my wife and kids take me to the hospital, he drove me there, waited for me to get my hand sewed up and then he dropped me off back at home. This was upon just meeting him too. Needless to say, Michael is a stand up human being who cares about his customers and wants to take care of them. My family appreciated his selflessness. As for his work, he made sure our new home was all set up with new outlets, dimmer switches and some tv openings for cords. I would HIGHLY recommend Michael.

A tree took out our service and ComEd refused to connect their new service to our existing 1950s wiring. Mike came out to look the same afternoon I called. He quoted a lump sum price on the spot. The project was a complete service replacement, inclusive of a new meter box, wiring, conduit, grounds, and circuit breaker box. The work brought the service up to meet local code, which increases the value of the house. Mike obtained the City permit, answered questions for our Homeowners Insurance agent, and stayed late the first day to make sure we had temporary power overnight. Mike and his son were friendly and respectful of our space. Mike told me he is available for 24-hour emergency work. He also works Saturdays.
