CAZ Designs

Carolyn is a gifted designer and manager. She took charge of our project from measuring, blueprints, selection of materials, appliances, permitting. She managed her expert contractors through the construction and installation processes. Our kitchen, living room and balcony are designed with indoor/outdoor living and greatly enhanced views, including the use of LaCantina Door Panels and custom windows. Just started...

We had such a great experience with Carolyn that we are hiring her back for more remodeling. She worked well with us, listened to our needs and wants as well as offered great suggestions for us to consider. Everything planned out well with just a few days past projected timeline that wasn't her fault. Just took a little longer to get the color we wanted for cabinets. Well worth the expense to get the expertise.

Making the decision to work with Carolyn was absolutely the best decision we made at the beginning of our kitchen remodel. She got what we were looking for from the start. She was able to bring together a terrific team to bring the vision to fruition. When I was concerned we would never find counter tops or flooring, she made it look easy. I had looked at hundred of flooring choices and everything was wrong. Carolyn had even brought us a bunch and they just didn't work. She then brought one that everyone but me loved. I kept looking, all the while her latest choice was sitting on our floor and more people fell in love with it. She finally said to me, you have have to trust me, and I'm so glad I did. It's such a beautiful choice and a centerpiece of the kitchen. Our counter tops are absolutely perfect too! By working with Carolyn we were able to front load our project (stage everything on site) and finish on time. I never had to worry if we were on track, because she managed the process from beginning to end. She was always available for questions, new ideas, and even the occasional freak outs :) We finished just a day or two before Thanksgiving and we were thrilled to share the new kitchen with our friends and family. They love it as much as we do! If you are thinking of starting a project, I definitely recommend working with Carolyn!

Everything was wonderful.

Carolyn is a true professional, she made what could have been a stressful time enjoyable! Her knowledge of construction, materials and finishes shined as she made our vision come to life. She worked to find pricing solutions along the way, not everything needs to be gold plated. Surprisingly, our home remodel finished on time and at the budget price agreed to. What a nice change of pace! We will definitely use CAZ Designs as we tackle our next project.

Working with Carolyn was a wonderful experience. She is very helpful, efficient and certainly knows about all aspects of the design business. Our project was finished on time and within budget. It was a pleasure working with her and I would be happy to recommend her to my friends, family and clients!

I did write a review of CAZ Designs about three weeks ago, but even after Home Advisor called me regarding my review . . . it still is not posted. Here is a brief summary. We hired CAZ Designs (Carolyn Zaner) to do approximately $120,000 remodel/design of our 1200sq. foot condo. We relied upon the other reviews, and were totally disappointed. We live in Arizona and this remodel was for our summer home in Laguna Woods Village, CA. Bad subcontractors, poor quality of window coverings, will have to remake several of them. We approved the fabric, but Carolyn chose a low quality fabricator.

We really have enjoyed working with Carolyn of CAZ Designs, Inc. for our master bedroom project. She has been extremely flexible working within our limited budget, extremely prompt and sensitive to our needs. We will definitely use her again for future projects!
