My driveway is approximately 500 ft long and 10 ft wide, with a parking area in front of my home. I received bids from 3 asphalt and had requested 2.5 inch overlay and I also wanted to know how much product they would use for the job. 2 out of 3 said it take 80 ton which is exactly what I determined using an online calculator. After the project was complete, I asked how much asphalt he used and he said 60 ton. I asked him how did that happen and he said he didn't know. The obvious answer is the product was put on to thin. I can understand being off some, but 20 ton. I was told the driveway would last for over 20 years, I hope so.

Good young man and he lets you know what needs doing. He won't try to sell what you don't need. He won't ask for money until the job is done and you're happy
