Erik and his team were very professional. We contacted him to build a wall, Install a barn door, and paint couple rooms. Erik was responsive and honest with his estime by providing realistic construction time and constructions cost. During construction we asked him to do extra house repairs and even to move a very heavy piece of furniture from the first floor to the second floor. Even thought he was pretty much booked for couple weeks, he found a way to fit in the extra house repairs and furniture moving work without complaining or hesitating. We were very happy with his work, and will definitely reach out to Erik for future house projects.

Erick and his crew are professional, hard workers. The job was nicely done. Perfect and clean. Definitely recommend them. I am very satisfied.

Erick and his team did a fantastic job, snd fast. Our dining room walls and ceiling needed a lot of work to prepare for painting, including wallpaper removal and repairing plaster. They completed the whole job fast, and very thorough with attention to detail. They also did a great job cleaning up and managing dust/debris. I will definitely recommend them!

I initially reached out for quotes regarding skim coating.a kitchen wall. Best Pro Builders replied promptly. When Erick (the owner?) responded, he also indicated that they could provide painting services as well. While the skim coat quote wasn't the best, the combination of the skim coat plus primer and two coats of paints was reasonable. So, I hired this company. That turned out to be a horrible decision. Best Pro Builders came on August 29, 2023 to do the job. While the skim coat seems appropriately done, the prime coat and paint coats are atrocious! Both the paint and primer I provided were Farrow and Ball water-based products. However, against my directions, the Best Pro Builders workers used KILZ oil-based primer instead of the Farrow and Ball primer and apparently did not let it dry thoroughly before painting. The result is that, on the very same day they skim coated, primed, and painted, dried drip marks and many visible white cracks (the paint is blue) appeared once the paint was dried. More problematic is that, since that day, there is a horrible smell in the kitchen that I believe is giving me headaches. I looked up why this might be, and it appears that it's not unusual for KILZ primer to off-gas for several days or weeks. When I asked for a refund of only the primer and paint portion of the job (not the skim coat portion), Erick refused, claiming that the paint job was done well, despite the pictures I sent him showing the paint cracks and drips in the finished job and explaining that his employees had not used the primer I had specified and provided. I will not hire Best Pro Builders again. Moreover, I let Best Pro Builders know that if they do not refund my money by September 5, 2023, I will report them to the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office.

I live in a 3 family home. I hired Best Pro Builders to handle several projects for me: 1) to patch holes my tenant put in a bedroom wall, 2) repair damage caused by a past water leak, 3) install bathroom exhaust fans in the 1st and 2nd floor, 4) paint rooms (two bathrooms, kitchen, a bedroom and hallways) The crews were very professional in their set up and clean up. Erick’s crews did good work, especially since the spaces were still occupied. My biggest gripe was the communication at the start of the project wasn’t as timely as I would have liked, and I initially didn’t get a clear estimate for how long the total project would take. Because I have tenants, I wanted to provide them with as much advance notice as possible. The communications did improve after the first two days. Aside from that, I would definitely reach out to Best Pro Builders for projects in the future.
