Awful company. Berger?s Gutters has been one of the most frustrating contractor experiences I have ever dealt with. The gutters were installed incorrectly from the beginning, and instead of standing behind their work, they attempted to charge additional fees to come fix their own mistakes. To make matters worse, the installer they sent could not communicate in English, which made it impossible to properly discuss the installation or address concerns during the job. We were sold on one thing and got another. When we later requested that someone come out who could actually communicate with us and review the issues, the company refused. Customer service, specifically with Amy, was extremely unhelpful and dismissive. Calls and messages were not handled professionally, and there was zero accountability for the poor workmanship. I will be contacting BBB.

The gutters were installed per the agreed scope on an independent pavilion/pergola. What you are demanding afterward, a gutter positioned in a way that eliminates the gap between your home and a separate structure, is not a workmanship fix. That outcome requires structural modification or repositioning of the pavilion/pergola, which is outside gutter work and outside the signed agreement. Your statement that we ?charged to fix our own mistakes? is also incorrect. We did not quote a fee to ?fix mistakes.? We explained that anything not included in the signed scope is additional work and requires written approval. We even discussed a courtesy option for drainage accessories that were not part of the original contract. Finally, it?s difficult to take this as a good-faith review when several nearly identical 1-star reviews were posted within the same hour and a fourth within 24 hours, across different profiles, repeating the same claims and attacking staff by name. We are addressing the repetitive posting through the proper channels and will continue communication in writing.

I hired Berger Home Services in June 2024 to install new gutters on my home, and it has been a frustrating and costly mistake ever since. From the start, the gutters did not work properly. I reached out to the company just a few months after installation, and they came out once, claimed they made repairs--but nothing changed. At the time, we hadn't had much rain, so I couldn't confirm if the issue was fixed. Fast forward to the heavy storms in June and July 2025, and the problem became very clear: the gutters were never properly repaired and are now causing flooding, lower deck damage, and erosion around my home. Despite being well within the 1-year warranty, Berger Home Services is now trying to charge me a $75 fee just to inspect the issue--plus possible repair costs--for a problem they never fixed in the first place. I've filed multiple complaints with the Better Business Bureau, and still, nothing has been resolved.

Did not arrive with adequate volume of materials even though it was a small job. Had to re-schedule to complete. Did not communicate efficiently on 2nd day of install and arrived late. Not a positive experience.
