Bay Area Refacing

We are very pleased with our kitchen update done by John Savala of Bay Area Refacing. He helped us define the project within our budget (even though it meant less work for him), suggested many helpful improvements to our plan, always left the worksite clean, met his schedule or communicated well the few times things that got beyond his controls forced changes, was a pleasure to work with in general and, most importantly to me, always made sure we were completely satisfied with his work and products during all phases. I would highly recommend John for any cabinet update project.

John does excellent work. He built a beautiful custom wine built in for our wall. He was easy to work with, incredibly meticulous about the build-out, and easily exceeded our highest expectations. We'd happily work with him again, and highly recommend him for any refacing work.

We were very pleased with this company. John was very professional. He was on time and he explained everything he was doing in detail and followed through with what he was doing. It was a small job, adding handles and knobs to cabinet doors and drawers. It took us awhile to find someone who would do this type of work. John does other cabinet work that we will call him to do the job. Good person and good job. Our cabinets looks great.

John improved our cabinet refacing plan with great ideas we hadn't considered, such as widening existing drawers and replacing weak shelf pull-outs. We weren't surprised at any costs because we designed the project with him and he stayed with the plan. As other reviewers mentioned, we also appreciated his good communication during the project. In the end, John made sure we were completely satisfied with his work -- and we were. No hesitation recommending him to others.

They were patient, thorough and had great communication skills we knew exactly what we were getting. We changed our minds on a couple things and they were understanding about it and worked with us. They are fantastic.

John was very professional. Even if he was going to be a little bit late, he would call. He came when he was supposed to, finished when he was supposed to and cleaned up very well. The craftsmanship and customer service were outstanding! Everything just really worked out well.

He is absolutely amazing. So neat and clean. Had to saw drawers off, and I didn't see a shred of wood or debris anywhere.

The quality of John's cabinet work is excellent. He is very thorough and pays attention to detail. At the end of each day he gets high points for cleanliness. He is a creative problem solver finding a way to modify some cabinet trim so that it tied in nicely with my quarts counter tops. I found him very easy to work with due to his excellent communication skills. Finally, John is very responsible, trustworthy and takes great pride in his work.
