My husband and I were blown away by the job Phil and his crew at Barrs Construction did replacing our deck! The deck is spectacular. And they far exceeded all our expectations. You can see the craftsmanship and high quality work in the completed deck. And he did it for a very reasonable price. Phil and the guys showed up a few days after we agreed to the project and built the 10 X 50 deck in only 4 days. Phil pointed out that the laundry room door was deteriorated and needed replaced. He was able to take care of it for us the next day. I just set Barrs Construction as my Home Advisor favorite. We will definitely call on them for our next project. I highly recommend them. Quality, professionalism, and good price, what more can you ask for? Thanks to Phil and the crew, you made our deck replacement project easy.

Phil was excellent! They did a great job on the deck. Worked until the job was done. Completed tile repair in my basement. Removed and installed new tile in a basement foyer area. Installed a custom sink and removed the old sink from a bar area. Pleasant to work with and I referred my friends to Phil. All in All, a pleasant contractor experience were it was a fair experience on both sides.

I hired Barr Construction to remove the sliding door and install a casement window and also remove the upper deck that was in need of repair so we opted to remove it. Barr Construction came in with a reasonable price and did a great job on all counts. I am very pleased with the results.

I hired Barr s construction just by chance because I needed my deck to be resupported. After evaluating the structure of the deck we came to the conclusion that the deck needed to be replaced. Barr s construction came back with a reasonable bid on the job. I was so happy with how he came up with different ideas that we decided to make the deck larger and more function able. Once Phil started installing the deck we tweeked it alittle and added a few more railings and more steps. Did I mention that Barr s construction at the same time that he build my deck that he designed and built a 12x 16 shed from scratch and his price was much cheaper than a custom built shed that gets delivered to the house. Overall I am extremely satisfied with how Barr s construction conducted business and that he went above and beyond to make my job complete in a timely matter. It took Phil less than 2 weeks to build a 12x20 deck and a 12x16 shed. I would highly recommend Barr s construction to do your next job, I know I will.

I cannot say enough about how positive the experience was with Phil and his crew. The quality of the work was top notch and I'm thrilled with the new deck. This was a second home so I was out of town most of the time and Phil made coordination of the project very easy. This is the only construction company I would trust to do work in the Poconos! Phenomenal job guys!!

Phil Barr and his co-worker ( his father, Phil Barr senior) we’re wonderful!! They worked in cold, snowy, and rainy conditions. They worked hard and quickly and made the porch better than I expected. They listened to my suggestions and fulfilled my needs and wants. I appreciate the broken down payment plan that made payments easy. I will definitely call on them for future projects.
