B&E Paving and Sealcoating

Ed's team did an awesome job, resealing the driveway. They were actually early, did a very thorough job, even asking for my input on the job, while they were doing it. Price was very reasonable, and I would highly recommend them!! I plan on calling him in 3 years to do it again!

In October of 2019, B and E laid a new driveway at our home. In the spring of this year we noticed blacktop coming up and left messages for Ed Reilly to give us a call because they guaranteed job for two years. Last week, we sealed the driveway and 3 days later in all the blacktop areas that were pitted are now filled with sand. It is the whole base of the driveway where the blacktop is pitted not the top . Need for him to stand by his guarantee and come and see the problem.

I specifically asked to LEVEL the slope of the driveway but all that was done was top coated and sealing but no difference in the slope. I spoke to ED letting him know that I was not satisfy with the job since it was not what we had discussed. I contacted B&E Paving and spoke to the owner, Bill, who said he'd pass by to take another look and get back to me. I have tried several times to contact him and left several voicemails and sent several messages all to which he has not been responsive. The owner Bill did not even try to help remedy for their mistake as they provided and charged for a service that was not done correctly and as promised. This company showed poor customer service and lack of professionalism by ignoring customers complaints and dissatisfaction.

There are a lot of really nice, hardworking, and conscientious people that you can hire in the Hudson Valley. This is not one of them. We hired Ed to put use polymeric sand to seal joints in our driveway stones and a week later we have gaps in the joints where the sand collapsed due to lack of tamping. We have soft, unsealed sand moving out of the joints and settling onto our driveway stones and we have weeds growing up through the joints. I cannot express what a terrible job was done. We have since had another company come and look at it and they suspect that the sand that was used was just plain sand and not joint sealing sand. When we called Ed to ask why he had done such a terrible job, his response was **I did the work I said I was going to do**. If you have money to waste, I definitely recommend these guys.

Reasonably priced, showed up on time, and provided meticulous workmanship. I ve been hiring contractors for close to 20 years and never had all three of these factors homeowners expect. Professional and friendly staff. Took pride in their work. Highly recommend.

Ed and his team were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. They dug up and replaced our driveway. They also did a stone fire pit and pavers surrounding it. It looks beautiful. We would highly recommend using B & E Paving.

Started what looks like a good job but I have not been able to get hold of them to come back and finish.

I had a great experience. The owner was extremely accommodating and the quality of workmanship was great. I will definitely use him again in the future
