Very poor work - he didn?t prep or sand the deck prior to staining so all of the stain has peeled and chipped off in large areas. The whole project took much longer than anticipated and there were several days he just didn?t communicate or show up to work, which inconvenienced us as the patio door was covered in plastic and unusable to let our dogs out. He also sprayed a cleaner by mistake on our siding which ruined it (he owned this mistake and fixed it) but that resulted in him residing the entire back of our house where our deck is, adding additional days to the project. We went with him due to being the cheapest quote, but looking back that was a red flag as we?re now spending $5000+ next week to have our deck properly sanded, pressure washed, sealed, and stained for the second time in less than three years after spending $2600 with him.

I would hire Northwood Home Provement again. Our new deck is beautiful and Luis is a great communicator. I couldn't be happier.

Could not be more excited about our deck that was put in last summer. Luis was outstanding in every way. All footings were done properly, offered excellent advice on use of space. Willing made some adjustments that I preferred at no extra charge. Made sure at all times we were kept up to date on progress. Detail minded at all times, very friendly and very professional. We have had dubious home improvement work done before, cannot remember any being this conscientious. Thank you!

The deck looks phenomenal. Luis and team were incredibly caring and understanding of the project and made sure to answer all of our questions and even helped to get our deck inspections scheduled and completed. Final project turned out great! I can not thank the team enough and will be reaching out to them first for any future projects.

Overall a great experience. I called to receive a quote and Luis was very responsive. He was able to come the same day to give me a quote, and was able to perform the work two days later. Showed up on time and finishing a timely manner. Will be using Luis again!

Luis and his team were prompt, professional, and very hardworking. He and his team completely replaced our front deck and resurfaced our side porch/stairs with composite decking. Both turned out beautiful and we have had many compliments on our new decks. I would recommend him and his team for any project!

Luis was excellent to work with on our project. He communicated with us regularly about the project, and went out of his way to meet a deadline we had. He and his crew came in and knocked out the project in a day and a half. They did great quality work and demonstrated none of the characteristics people sometimes complain about with contractors. I would highly recommend using Luis and his company.
