Family Home Improvement did a superb job in repairing a portion of my flat metal roof that already had a bitumen layer on top of it. The problem was that water was dripping down the air intake of an installed roof a/c unit which damaged my top floor ceiling. Despite my attempts to coat the roof with aluminum paint and cover any other spots that could be areas of water intrusion, we still had dripping on hard rain days. David came out and talked to me and I shared my own ideas and he recommended a solution. He was straightforward with me and I appreciated that advice. We talked about replacing a gutter as well. The previous roofing estimate that I had received was from a person who immediately wanted to replace the roof. I had been up on the roof several times and knew that there was a less expensive route to attempt. I really appreciated David telling me what he thought was the root of the problem. He told me that it would be a couple of weeks before they would get to the work. I gave the customer service 4.5 out of 5 because I had to call to find out the date after waiting several days to be notified when they would come out to the property. Also, I had to email the day prior to ensure they were coming so that I would be home. Each communication was met with a prompt response. Even when I asked about a new issue that I discovered, it was responded to that day. The work was done well and the crew cleaned up very well. I went up onto the roof a day after the work was done. We had a hard rain a few days later and the result...no leaks! In addition, Family Roofing discovered another problem that I had with the flue for the gas furnace. This was another issue that I was aware of and I had them replace it on the spot. They did an excellent job. I highly recommend Family Home Improvement for roofing work. I would definitely choose them again!

They came three days early and although I did not go up on the roof to check on their work, they showed me pictures and explained everything they had done.
