They showed up when they said they would show up, and stayed until the job was finished. They were polite and professional. I wish every home improvement contractor was like this! In my case, they installed a new hot water tank (not boiler), but after having so many contractors not call back, or take weeks to complete one project, it was a pleasure working with these guys!

DeWitt and his team did a very good job removing an old oil furnace, oil hot water heater, and oil tank and then installed a new electric Carrier central Air Conditioner and heat pump system, as well as an electric hot water heater and whole house water filter system. They used existing duct work, added a warm air return, and cleaned the old ducts. I was very meticulous with my questions and DeWitt promptly answered them. The install was done to my satisfaction and his technicians were extremely polite. DeWitt is extremely knowledgable and takes great pride in his work.

Archibald arrived and completed the install on time. However, boss left early with fever, his assistant did a mediocre job finishing. Further examination revealed additional sloppy workmanship. When I called to have them come back to tidy up, they became defensive and would not return my calls.

They were timely and did a very clean excellent install. Had one minor problem with routing of electrical cables.

Devoted to their work, this outfit believes in doing their very best and their best is terrific. They did put on a bit of a hard sell, urging that I purchase a VERY expensive boiler system--but clearly Archibald & Co. believe in this product, insisting that it will save hugely on fuel costs in the future, so I went with it. Installation went smoothly. Archilbald's tech returned quickly when there were minor installation glitches to fix. Everything working great now. I'll return to comment a year from now when we know whether this system saves as hugely on fuel as it is supposed to do. Until then can't vouch for budget or value.

Timely, professional, and courteous.

Very friendly, knowledgeable and professional salesperson. Price was right in comparison to other esitimates. Took time to explain the tax implications of the new, more efficient heating and AC equipment. Explained the available rebates from Central Hudson and from Carrier. Salesperson forgot, however, to mention to the service men that the humidifier we ordered had not arrived by the day they were installing the units. Salesperson admitted that he forgot to tell them. Media filter was not installed during the first installation visit.
