Dave was great, he worked with me to get the best deal possible, the project turned out great, I have since asked him to complete several concrete projects around my house.

We hired him and never showed to do the work. Said he would call and never did. When I was able to get a hold of him he said sorry been swamped unable to do the job. 3 weeks later out of the blue calls and says plans on starting next week. After our last conversation leaving us empty-handed some nerve to assume we wanted him to do anything. Very unprofessional is all I can say.

Took 5 weeks to install a patio then he had to Dave had to rip in all up again because he tried to pull one past me on the slope. Said it was supposed to fall 1/8 of an in per foot which turned out to be 8 in over 24 feet. Then did not put down an extra brick like he was suppose to on the wall. Said he makes 90$ per hour. He is not even licensed then again you don not need to be to do paver work. It looks good however I believe there will be problems down the road. For 10k I expected more

    Response from Company:

For $10,000.00 Adam got more than a good deal. Seeing as the lowest bid he received was $20,000.00. He's mad because I wouldn't give him a block wall for free. I've done so many extras for him. I've saved him a lot of money by reducing larger paver's down to 3"x 6" because he didn't have enough. He would have had to order 6 more lift's to cover the 70+ that were missing. He added to the project after it was done that I had to rip out the edging, and redo it. He also claim's I tried to pull a fast one with the slope. I had 1/4 inch per foot which is the most slope I'll put on a patio. At that point it was 5" above the landscape. He didn't like it so I changed it. It's now 8" above the landscape. If that what he wanted that's what I'll give him. If a customer wants some changes to the project. Every company out there will do this including mine. He also left work for me to take of that he was supposed to do. He received a top notch patio. I'm going to try and post pictures of the patio on home advisor. Take a look you be the judge. I've pulled $350.00 out of my pocket to complete a wall that was added on. He feel's he doesn't need to pay for that. He still hasn't payed for all my hard work. I'm afraid I'll have to take him to court. I don't take advantage of people and I don't expect other people to take advantage of me. April had 9.77" of rain. I also had a heart procedure done at the beginning of the project. He knew that I might not be able to work for a week. I had a restriction of lifting no more than 8 Lbs. for 4 days and no more than 20 lbs. for 10 day's. I still went to work for him during this time. I wanted to start this project after the procedure but he needed to start this project. Homeowner's getting earlier because his condo. was voting on getting approval for such project's. By his own admission he doesn't get along with the board and has disputes with his neighbor.I have 36 year's experience. Any question's feel free to me at (616)724-5545 David Robinson.
