Provider replaced the control box and noticed other problems with the system not included in the original quote. In order to correct these other problems, he needed to use his power tools, but he didn't have an extension cord and asked to borrow mine. I complied. After he left, and I rearranged items near the new control box, I saw that my extension cord was used to supply electrical power to the sprinkler system, whereas the old system was hard wired directly from its own permanent source. I believe the new system should be wired to a permanent source, rather than with an extension cord, which is very unprofessional and crude.
