Quick to respond and showed up when he said he would. Repaired the problem and helped to solve why it happened and made recommendations on how to prevent it in the future. We plan on hiring for additional work in the house.

Hired Homer and his company last spring & summer for a renovation of a home I bought in Asheville. They were charming and gave me all kinds of assurances, but in reality they were under-qualified and dishonest. They sent teenagers to do my plumbing, the cheapest guys they could to do my drywall, an electrician who nearly burnt my house down. Homer Jones left me high and dry in the middle of the renovation after I'd paid him $50K. Homer ghosted me and never returned my phone calls or texts. I was left stranded without a place to stay after he claimed my family and I were free to stay in his nearby airbnb. I am a young single woman who moved across the country to create a new life in this home, right after a family death. Homer's dishonesty and lack of communication was a huge betrayal of trust. He had good reviews because he paid for them on Angi's list. This was my mistake. Please don't make the same one. He's not using skilled labor and he cost me a lot of money and time trying to fix his mistakes.

Not a reliable handyman. Repeatedly missed scheduled days. Project ultimately not finished, requiring me to hire someone else to finish the job. Quality questionable.

Our project involved replacing decking, pickets, risers, treads, and stringers, on a 12 year old PT pine wood double deck that spans two sides of our home, along with straightening the 6 x 6 vertical support posts. The estimate for the project was well under the final price due to many items on the deck that needed to be replaced but could not be seen until removed. The work crew varied from two men to as many as five on any given day and they were very courteous, knowledgeable, and professional in their approach to the project. The owner kept in constant communications with us regarding delays or days in which work could not be accomplished due to weather conditions or other issues. Even though the project was well over budget, in the end we felt we had a quality project with no short cuts and a renewed deck that should last many years into the future..

Projects required lots of planning, consideration of many options and attention to detail. If something was not going right, project was immediately put back on course, I trust their input and recommendations. Go with Anything Goes!
