Hiring an electrician is simply expensive. However, unlike other things one can do around the home (such as basic plumbing and painting), electric work requires someone with knowledge and equipment for safety reasons---especially if you have outdated systems. Antex did the job well; but when I l reflect on what was done, I can't help but think that the deed shouldn't have cost that much.

It was 2 days before Thanksgiving. My fan lamp went kaput on me, and I also needed an outside light installed. Alen called within the hour, made an appt. for an est. the following day. He was VERY reasonable, so I hired him for the 2 jobs, one of which he finished right then and there!! Very professional, friendly, hard working! I have found an electrician I will use for as long as he's willing. Bonded and Insured as well. EVERYTHING DONE by Thanksgiving, he made a point of it....and he's a VERY BUSY electrician. He's the BEST EVER!!! SO overly satisfied! Thank-you Alen! AND HomeAdvisor :D
