Reviews
Write a ReviewExcellent service and nice people to deal with.
Did the job according to the contract. Didn't try to sell me anything else.
They were fantatic! They did a very professional job and were very clean and meticulous with their work. I have recommended them to several friends beacuse of their work and competitive pricing.
I was told that I needed four bands on one wall to prevent further cracks. When the job was completed the bill added up to another thousand dollars because they installed a total of nine bands at a cost of $375 each. The discharge pipe for the water conditioner was cut off when they moved the conditioner after speaking with the conditioner installer. The conditioner installer reconnected the pipe at a cost of $130.55, which I took off the basement contractors bill. I have since noticed that a drain pipe for my inside sink was also disconnected when the basement contractor worked on the outside drain that is connected to the sump
The customer had self diagnosed one Carbon Fiber Band for her room, which would have not been sufficient for the reinforcement of the cracked wall. The owner stopped in during the installation and we explained the need for the extra four strips, and the homeowner agreed upon those strips before they were installed and were given at our cost of materials(ie no labor or markup). The water conditioner discharge line was asked to be cut by A.B.C. and incorporated into the sump pump to handle the drainage. The Conditioner service charged $130.55 for glueing two pvc elbows to a length of pipe which was provided by A.B.C. at a cost of $2.00.
They arrived when scheduled and finished the job as per agreement.
He was supposed to mail me a warranty, a guarantee, it's been almost a month and I haven't received it yet. I even had my real estate agent follow up with him and I haven't received it to my knowledge. This worries me and that's why I said no on the recommendation. If he would send me the warranty, I would say yes on the recommendation.
The real estate agent called us for the customers warranty and we sent a copy to him immediatley we would not send him the origional because the customer has the responsibility to keep the transferrable warranty in safe keeping. My son who was responsible for mailing out the warranties at that time went back to college and pre season football camp and didn't mail it before leaving, but we mailed the customer her warranty shortly thereafter and as you can see she never did what she said she was going to do and retract her comment
.
They did a great job and I would highly recommend them.
