We just had American Dry Basement install a waterproofing system in our basement. We've had issues with water in our basement and needed a total solution so we can sleep at night and go away without worrying about flooding. Steve T from American Dry came to our house and presented us with what the solution will look like and thoroughly explained the entire process. He also answered all our questions and was always available to talk to. He is extremely knowledgeable and an excellent professional to work with. Then Wilson and his two-man crew came to do the work and they were all professional, extremely hard working and respectful of our home. They always started early and worked all day long to get the job completed. They wrapped up all items that were still exposed after we cleaned out most of our basement, used vacuums and filters to minimize all the dust and left our basement cleaner than it was before. We highly recommend American Dry Basement Systems and we're so happy we chose them over the others we received estimates from. And their price was more than competitive for what we believe is a much better solution.

I hired American dry basement systems to waterproof my basement. Most of the system worked except for one problem in one area. They came back to try and fix it and the problem still exists. It has been very difficult to contact them as they are not making any effort to return phone calls and text messages. After finally getting in contact with them, I asked them to come back and fix the problem and they are not able to do it in a reasonable amount of time. The job is paid in full and they offered me a time almost a month in advance. None of the other contractors can finish their work in putting my home back together until this is resolved. I have asked to speak to the owner, Peter O'Shea, numerous times with no success. Many phone calls and emails have gone unanswered. My contract says the waterproofing system has a lifetime warranty.

Let me start by telling you my backstory. I live in a house built in 1929, it has a stone foundation. It wasn't until Hurricane Sandy that I felt the effects of a house that had no waterproofing and we had about three feet of water. We did a little bit of mitigation, and had no more problems for awhile. More recently, NY had five days of non stop rain and the walls in basement and flooring barely held it together. So that's when I knew I really had to do something. Every time we heard the weather report we would keep checking that basement and our little water pump. The water pump did ok, but we had wet vacs and worked like a team, but the water was coming up through the floors. Just a little 2-3 inches can cause so much damage. This is climate change, a lot of my friends were suffering from flooding for the first time and it wasn't going to get any better. So that was it, my husband and I interviewed four different places. They were all professional, but there was something about the detailed 2 hour interview that Scott Cort, one of their top inspectors did with us and we knew that was the place we were going to deal with. Plus he dealt with a multitude of questions from my husband and didn't flinch. He was patient, showed us exactly what they would do to protect the basement from flooding. He saw how stressed I was and just plain tired of this. It was a very comprehensive plan. Scott explained the lifetime warranty. The system is self-cleaning and requires zero maintenance. There is also a clog free guarantee. It included a PITBOSS waterpump with a wifi system and a backup battery in case the power goes out. He also told me that there would be very little dust. And there was very little dust. It only took two full days of his crew working nonstop. I was a bit nervous about cutting the walls, but he picked up the phone every time I called. If he was busy, he texted me right away and got back to me in 30 minutes. (And I call a lot). I am happy with the results. My contractor checked it out and said American Dry did a great job after dropping by to see the results. And most of all, we can sleep when it rains. We are ready!!! By the way, I have never written a review this long, but I needed to shout them out, and it was competitively priced!! Thank you AmericanDry, thank you Scott Cort. It was a pleasure!

The team who waterproofed our basement was very knowledgeable, on time and very very professional. The company overall was a pleasure to work with. The team kept me up to speed on everything and when the job was completed, did an outstanding cleanup. My pumps were totally set up and tested as I looked on. My back up system was set up as well. I have watched all of this company's You Tube videos when doing my research and all work was performed with no corners cut and using the finest of quality material. The warranty is lifetime and transferable. The system is guaranteed not to clog and this means, no Saturday's spent cleaning out the system. Would I reccomend this company and it's staff, you bet I would!! Well worth the money and piece of mind. A very happy customer, Mike "T"

I learned a lot at my consultation with ADBS. The technician was really informative, helping me understand the root of the problem is and how to solve it. I ultimately did not book the full basement services due to the lofty price tag but I eventually hope to.

The crew was knowledgeable and worked REALLY hard. They got here in a blizzard and hit the completion deadline of one week. They will need to come back in the spring to finish the outdoor portion since the ground is frozen. I think the price tag is worth the quality of service.

The crew was terrific. Very hardworking, and very respectful of our home. They literally had to carry debris from one end of our house to the driveway and at the end of every day it was always left clean. They worked hard and it was done beautifully. It hasn't rained yet but I am sure it will be a success.
